I bought these exercise bands to rehab my shoulder after surgery. After waiting a month, I started going to physical therapy 1 or 2 times a week. 1 visit of my co-pay paid for these and I stopped going 3 weeks before my last 3 month follow up visit with the surgeon and he said I was doing better than most for what needed to be repaired and being 62. Only takes a minute or two a day to keep joint stiffness at a minimum.

This is updated and uses latex not a plastic blend. ( If you have latex allergies, not recommend) I have found the quality nice, and for a "lightweight" like myself (for PT/rehab) this is working quite well. There are videos on YouTube you can find showing how to set up and use as well the set does have a little guide of exercises.

Not only are they for exercising, but man, for someone, and as someone myself who does NOT stretch, this makes it so much easier to get your stretching in, helping with flexibility in general!! I use these in substitute to many cable machine exercises. There is so many ways to use them. I wrap the cables around my squat rack and use them and I can just stand in the middle of the band and use them. My workout space is rather small and these take up little room but yet replace big bulky machines. I love that I can hook multiple weight resistances together to make them heavier and more challenging. I like that they are nicely labeled with pounds and kilos both! The material is heavy duty and durable, I'm not worried about snapping them at all. I love all the connectors it came with like the handles and the ankle strap! Truly these have helped me work muscles from back, pecks, to legs. If you're looking for a good substitute for machines for you home gym than these are it!
