Resistance Trooper Star Wars Black Series 6-Inch Action Figure

Overall the character is exactly as it should be, a support element. You don't see these guys in the movies 'standing out', so why should the toy be really impressive? This is actually a great figure. His joints haven't loosened on me in about a year of having him, he stands well, holds his blaster well (not so much with both hands but you can make it work). I have recently decided its worth having at least a squad sized element of him. Convenient Improvements would be different skin tones, or having an alien species also. I do like there is a green helmet variant. I think a blaster pistol and holster would be cool too. And my last critique is the lower part of the jacket prohibits a good kneeling position. Overall I am impressed with the functionality of the figure and plan on buying more of them.

This action figure is a very good likeness of yet another relatively insignificant character in the Star Wars Episode 7 motion picture franchise. It is durable, articulated, & relatively easy to find. That's about all I can say about it that is positive. The articulation is a little above average. The figure's arms are NOT articulated well enough to allow the figure to hold his weapon with two hands as he should. A swiveling joint in the bicep & shoulder area would have helped this a great deal. Maybe even a shorter stock on the weapon accessory, if that were possible. The rest of the body is articulated consistently with other Black Series action figures. The helmet does not come off—which would have been nice. The movable part of his helmet that covers his mouth & jaw area slides down over his face really well, but doesn't slide back up as nicely. I think an extra interchangeable head would have been cool to add to this figure, as well. Maybe even TWO heads. One human with lighter skin coloring & one of them could have been an alien head of some type with hands to match. Otherwise, he's basically a guy in a VERY drab, dull uniform….no holsters, pistols, tech gear, action feature, or anything. The lack of any of these features makes this figure overpriced in my mind. I was so unimpressed by this figure that I returned him to the store. I'm sure you will be able to get him at a way better price one day when he ends up in the Clearance Bin along with the Guavian Enforcer, Constable Zuvio, Finn in his Jakku outfit, & the other bland characters that were made into action figures.
