I had two hard stains on a new carpet that I tried removing with 3 other products with no luck. My sister recommended that I buy Resolve, I was hesitant because I had already tried cleaning the stains 1st with soap and water and then 3 different cleaners, I purchased Resolve and I was AMAZED that it removed the stains completely. Highly Recommended.
the product it self worked really well, my carpets had stains and i didnt want to order a carpet cleaner so this worked great, the price was insanely cheap too
I use it with a pole that the spray can fits into and when I pull the trigger some foam squirts out and gets rubbed around by the brush on the end. It's very easy to use but I can't find it online anymore.
I like Resolve high traffic foam spray, with a hand brush or sometimes a sponge mop but not drenched just damp. Let dry and vacuum. Works well.
I have an older two story home. Bedrooms on the second floor have heat vents, but no cold air returns. This resulted in filtration staining over the years when the doors are closed. I was looking for a way to pre-clean this staining before using the steam vac on the entire room. In researching this type of staining the commercial websites naturally recommended it be left for the professionals. Other websites reported that a steam vac would do the job if the area was pre-cleaned. Since I was dealing with carpet area along the baseboards, I didn't want to over saturate the area with water cleaning. Likewise I didn't want to use a liquid stain treatments since these have a tendency to generate excess suds later when using the steam vac. I decide to try out this product on my staining and it worked like a charm. Sprinkle on, scrub in and vacuum 30 minutes later. Stain gone. Carpet dry to the touch and no excessive suds later when using the stream vac. Perfect! I guess the only suggestion I would have to the manufacturer is to tone down the fragrant a little. Although it is a nice fresh scent, it gets a little over powering after a while when scrubbing it in by hand. A couple of open windows for a half hour did the job of airing out the room for closed door sleeping that night.
I have 3 dogs. While I have hardwood floors I have various rugs around the house. One of my dogs had a UTI and had an accident on one of my rugs. I have a very keen sense of smell and the smell was driving me crazy. I decided it couldn't hurt to try this product. I have to admit when I first put it down and brushed in it I thought "gosh, I hope this isn't just a glorified carpet deodorizing powder". I followed the directions and I believe it is important that you use a good brush (I used a small deck brush with stiff bristles) I left in on for about an hour and I was impressed. The smell is gone and it's not like that cover up the smell kinda thing. I will definitely keep this as a staple in my cleaning closet. I have attached a picture. The rug I cleaned is approximately 6 years old.
this works very well and one can goes a lot further than I had thought it would great stuff really removed a very darkened area on the carpet that would have been difficult to make lighter this worked way more than expected on the first application made the carpet back to its original color
I use this product when I clean my carpets. I have my own carpet steam cleaner, but like to spray this on traffic areas before I steam clean. The only thing for me is the smell. It is over powering, especially when I have cleaning solution in my steam cleaner already. It may be just me over doing it with cleaning agents, but I find this gives the high traffic areas a little boost before actually steam cleaning the carpet. Just make sure you open the windows on a nice day when cleaning. As for pets, I have two cats, but no dogs, nor do I have urine issues, so I don't know how well it works in cleaning pet odors.
We have beige carpet. Its a rental home, and was abused by the last tenant and their many animals. Our carpet after countless steam cleanings finally looks nice, but every time we steam clean it smells rancid. The padding gets wet, and sits there to mildew, leaving our freshly cleaned home to smell of mildew. We selected this product as a frequent use alternative to steam cleaning. The results were great. The bottle supposedly covers an 8x10 area, but after use in my 16x16 room, I still had enough left over for a second use. I sprinkled it over the carpet, and scrubbed it in with the bristles on the back of my mop, worked like a charm. After everything was said and done, let it sit for about half an hour and vacuumed. Physically I did notice some stains were gone, and our high traffic area was taken care of, but I'm really here to rave about the smell. It doesn't smell like perfume, but it did take away the mildew smell, and left a fresh scent. It's been several days, and the carpet looks great, and smells even better. I will be doing this regularly. On a side note: not impressed with this product as a STAIN remover, just for light every day touch ups however, it's perfect.
I COULD'NT BELIEVE THE EXPIRATION ON BOTH SPRAYS - OVER ONE YEAR, AND STILL ON THE SHELF.... I HAD TO GO TO BIMART NEXT DOOR TO WHERE I LIVE AND MAKE ANOTHER PURCHASE. I TOSSED THE TWO FULL CANS IN THE GARBAGE BEFORE WALMART PUT THEM BACK ON THE SHELF AS RETURNS.
