If I could give 0 stars I would. I clearly read the description about not being able to download things unless you download from a newer Apple device %26 transfer it because it's an older model. BUT I purchased 3 of these for my kids for Christmas along with cases. They do not connect to WiFi. I called the company that sold %26 shipped this to me through Walmart. He pretty much said there's nothing I can do besides get my money back. But now I'm out 3 HUGE Christmas presents for 3 of my kids. I'm very disappointed. I bought these with the understanding you could connect to WiFi only. My kids are younger so we don't need a cellular data plan or anything like that. Just WiFi. But they don't even connect to WiFi. It's ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend. I called Apple support they told me the same thing. The CSR from Apple said it's pretty much garbage. It's too old to even get the most recent update to be able to connect to WiFi. I trouble shooted every possible problem myself along with the company %26 Apple support %26 still nothing. This sucks. Why even sell it if they aren't useful for anything anymore?! Very disappointed.

I bought this for my daughter but unfortunately does not function well. I am unable to download any educational material not even PBS kids. And would not allowed me to update to any new version of the apps
