Screen is perfect, back has minimal scratches but completely covered with included case. Included screen protector was pre installed and although not applied quite to my standards (a few marks and bubbles), it wasn't a deal maker in the first place that it was /or wasn't included, so nice gesture that it was even included. So for the price and decent condition, I would overall recommend this Ipad to my friends and family.
