Restored Apple iPad Mini 16Gb Silver (Refurbished)

My first apple device, although, I purchased an iphone5 for my wife a few months back. I decided to purchase the mini ipad for a few reasons: (1) so I could get familiar with apple for my wife's benefit; (2) I could use the mini for work as I use internet programs with customers and desktop isn't convenient; lastly (3) I like new fun gadgets. This is a super workhorse since I really like the size and it does everything I need. I would recommend this mini ipad to anyone and everyone. The Sam's discount is what pushed me over the edge. Have an Google Nexus tablet as well. This outperforms it by far. So easy to use, great for FaceTime contacts. Price was really great at Sam's when we ordered it.. Love the fact that it syncs with our iPhones.

The iPad mini is very portable. It is big enough to see everything well, but small enough to easily fit into a purse and does not fatigue my hands and wrists when holding and using. It is not a pc per se, but it can look things up on the internet, it can check and reply to emails. Of course you can play many games from the many apps available, both free and to purchase. It is a fun tool, but really much like a big iPhone, just easier to see with a larger screen than the phone and more options. For my autistic teens, it provides a great app that helps in note taking. This app not only lets the user type, write, draw, and such, but will also record the lecture, too. This has been the best thing for both my high school teen and college teen. As note taking is very difficult, and this has brought technology to a place where it really is an asset for them to use to further their understanding and schooling in general. So even though it is a great play thing, with the right apps, it can also be a great tool for some people with disabilities, too.

I won the Apple IPad mini in the Cattery raffle. I love cats and this new IPad. I was up until 2 am for the first 2 night. I couldn't put it down.

Enjoy getting apps - weather, Facebook, Nook, etc. Have trouble closing out items.

Don't work, return was difficult

Not compatible for Certain apps, also when you do open an app you were actually able to download it closes up right away, so I checked if it was updated and it was but not the right iOS .
