Looks and works perfect, worth the money!

Jose March 8, 2017

• Before I purchase this phone, I look over the info and try to find whether this phone is for CDMA or GSM, but can't find it. Since this phone is sold by Walmart so I take a risk of going back to return if is not GSM. • Items arrived as its stated, product is perfect, can't really tell is a refurbished phone, comes with original box and full set of new accessories. Put in my sim card, and the set up was smooth and fast. • Although the product title said is Locked, but the phone comes in unlock. Conclusions: I'm very happy about this purchase, great deal, great product!

Great and very happy with purchase!

Nicodemus May 29, 2022

Very happy with purchase. Phone is exactly what we needed. This phone is on the smaller size, perfect for pockets and purses, not large at all and I love it! Works great, processing speed is fast, and look is sleek. If you are into large viewing windows, this may not be for you.

iPhone SE was locked but unlocked

Margos April 12, 2017

The manufacturer's number on the Walmart website indicated it was the unlocked version sold by Apple. I decided to take a chance since I could return it promptly if not as described. I needed an unlocked or locked to T-Mobile phone. I had the phone shipped to a local store and opened the box with the clerk present. Phone was in an original Apple box and shrink wrapped. It was as new, including all accessories--no signs of usage. The only way to tell it wasn't brand new was the plastic screen protector had bubbles under it. I popped my T-Mobile SIM card in, happily went to set up, and was disappointed--phone clearly not recognizing the SIM card. I called T-Mobile--they said they thought the phone was locked to Family Mobile--I call them, and they said they'd happily unlock the phone after several months of service. Not an option, think he phone's going back....disappointed.... I decide to research the phone on the Apple website--no info about carrier lock, but learn it has Apple warranty through September 2017. I decided to call the local Apple Store, while on hold, I decide to plug the IMEI number into the major carrier's online activation checks. I hit paydirt first try as AT&T said it could be activated! I immediately went to their unlock page and learned I simply had to fill out a request form to have the phone unlocked. About that time Apple answered the phone and confirmed it was an AT&T phone, and that I likely just had to request the unlock. I immediately did so, received a confirmation email saying it could be up to 2 days for processing. I went to log in to my iTunes account to see if there was anything else I could do to speed process, and an email popped up saying my phone was unlocked--5 mins to process request--was I happy! I restarted the phone with my T-Mobile SIM installed, and immediately had T-Mobile service!!!! So, yes, I'd recommend taking the chance. If by chance the Apple warranty wasn't good, there is a 60 day warranty offered by the refurbishing company. This was indicated by a business card placed in the shipping box--almost missed it, so look for it. I hope this review is of help to other shoppers.

Wrong color but.......

Gayle September 21, 2020

This is the phone I ordered but it is not the phone I got. The phone I received was black. It was a gift for my grandson and he seemed happy with it. He has had no problems with it thus far.

Refurbished iPhone se

Robin M October 16, 2025

It's ok, it would have been nice if the outside of the phone was in new condition instead of having deep scratches on it. I just hope that the phone lasts longer than a year or two and doesn't start to die being that I can't replace the battery.

cosmetically perfect

cbees March 1, 2017

Can not get past "setup" Went to att store for help with SIM card, transferring data, etc...but phone would not load or get past the initial setup. Employee said Apple was having a service issue and other customers were having difficulty getting their new phones configured (up to hour wait). It has been 24 hrs, was able to set pass code, Siri recognition, and load wifi code, saw a quick glimpse of the home screen and phone reverts back to " activatin required". I now need to enter pass code but the same cycle begins over and over and over, enter pass code, "get started" screen, glimpse of home screen and back to "activation required" Pretty sure this isn't an Apple issue.
