Restored Apple TV (3rd Generation) (Refurbished)

Not my first rodeo with Apple products. Interesting, when my wife left unexpectedly among other things she took the Apple TV, not the Roku. One of the features is the 'Air Play' (allowing me to stream among other things Amazon Prime), again 'Air Play' something Roku doesn't have. YOU cannot beat this price. Arrived as if it were brand new, well almost but was sealed in genuine Apple Box with shrink wrap. The only way I knew it wasn't new (remember, it says 'Refurbished') was an old email was still there. No problem deleting that and starting from scratch. Needed this for my bedroom as I bought the latest generation Apple TV.

I wasn't at all impressed with the Apple TV over what I had seen of Roku or Chromecast streaming devices. Unfortunately, it wouldn't take long for this one to continually reboot itself every time I attempted to launch an app. As for screen mirroring, I continually had issues with the screen freezing or lagging. Apple'a solution was to purchase an Apple Airport to replace my nighthawk 3200 to, "improve," my data rate for streaming. Walmart on the other hand made returning this item easy and painless and I would definitely recommend their online services.

I ordered a "refurbished" unit because it was les expensive. It came in all new packaging and in excellent, like new condition. If I didn't know it was refurb I would have thought it was new. Hooked it up and it worked perfectly out of the box. A great value for an original Apple unit.

The Apple TV runs great, does everything it's supposed to do. This was refurbished, but you would never know, as the unit I received was in perfect condition. No scrapes or knicks. The only downside is, the 3rd generation does not allow you to add any new apps, but I can AirPlay my Fios and streaming services. It also connects to my HomePod for that stereo sound quality.

This product is exactly what I needed for using internationally. Took me a while to find it, but glad you had the product.

I was going to get a Chromecast, but this dropped to $40, which was only $15 more than a Chromecast. At $40 this purchase was worth it, but I'm a little disappointed at the state the AppleTV is in. There are scratches in several places around the edges.

Apple TV remote supplied is not compatible, does not work, and is not even a refurbished Apple brand remote. Buyer beware and do not be deceived by the picture supplied. Contacted supplier for replacement remote. Rating change dependent on service and replacement remote.

The item doesn't work. And its hard to return as well as this is a third party seller

it absolutely worthless , you can't download any apps to stream ,

Check to make sure everything that should be included with your purchase is actually included. No power cord was included with a refurbished Apple TV. If I'm wrong that a power cord shouldn't be included, I will change my review...
