If you need an all-in-one laser printer and are on a budget, grab this one and don't look back. Originally bought a more expensive HP but returned immediately. Complete garbage! Fit and finish was terrible and for the price point was expecting much more. This Brother was not only much cheaper the build quality was much much better. Great buy for the money
Ready to set up in 5 mins
This printer was delivered as promised and looks like new. It has already shown to be a workhorse of a printer. We chose this one because our previous Brother (MFC-7860DW) started to break down...after making 80,000 copies! We wanted the DW model rather than the N model because we need the wireless capability. Based on our past experience with Brother we would highly recommend this printer.
GOOD PRICES AND WORK PERFECT.
easy to set up
When I first bought this printer it worked great. Easy to link to my phone, computer, and the ink cartridges last a long time. It will no longer link up with my phone and I have to “wake it up” anytime I want to print anything from my computer and even that is hit or miss. I'd pass on this one.
So I bought this laser printer with super high hopes because I had read great reviews! I wanted to save some money, or should I say I needed to save some money so I bought a restored product. I'm not sure if it's because of the printer being restored or if it's just this model in general, but I'm having a heck of a time getting it to connect to my Wi-Fi. Once I finally got it connected after two days of trying and watching videos online I got one document to print and then it went into sleep mode for a couple days as I did not need to use it again. The next time I tried to use it, it was disconnected from my Wi-Fi. Now, no matter what I do and what I try I cannot get it to connect to my Wi-Fi so I am completely unable to print anything from my phone or my iPad as I do not have an actual computer to plug it directly into. So basically at this point, I have a very expensive paperweight and will definitely be returning this product if I cannot get this issue resolved by the end of this week. When it functions, this printer is amazing! But I would have a hard time recommending this product to anyone after my issues with unreliability. You might possibly look for a similar model, but not this exact one as I've heard that brother LaserJet printers are the best to buy, but maybe this model just has some issues. The firmware and software are updated and everything is correct and I am indeed using the brother printer app from my phone and iPad so I'm doing everything correctly. I'm actually an IT specialist so if anyone should be able to figure this printer out, it is me, but I am struggling and have had no luck whatsoever.
It was suppose to be like new, does not work out of the box, no Toner Cartridge, would not ordered if I new that, Lie!
"I bought a printer from Walmart online, and it's not working properly. I suggest they test refurbished items before selling online. This has been a very bad experience for me, and I recommend everyone to pay a little extra for a new product instead of a refurbished one."
It took some work to set the printer up as there were no instructions. It came with no instruction manual. It also comes with no toner cartridge. I did not see anywhere in the advertisement that there was no instruction manual or toner cartridge. The printer came in a BROTHER BOX. It was well-packed and looked new. After ordering a toner cartridge and going to Brother's website to get the setup manual it seems to be working ok. At least after 1 day.
