Restored Brother SE630 Sewing and Embroidery Machine (Refurbished)

Great little entry level machine. User friendly. Self explanatory layout. Onboard editing, text and graphics. I have used it since 2022 and though I am ready to graduate to a larger hooped machine, I will continue to use this for smaller projects.

I have never embroidered anything in my life until last week and it was on socks so that was a task within itself, but I can say for a beginner I was able to figure it out by the 2nd attempt and I am very pleased. I am sure it's not perfect like the professional/ commercial machines, but I love this machine. I have made 2 quilts using the sewing foot too. My machine came with everything needed. If anyone was missing any parts, I am guessing it was a return that didn't get checked properly. I hope this machine lasts me for years. I have had it for about 1.5 or 2 years now. I can't remember. I have made a lot of items to include Key Chain wristlets, bookmarks, Chapstick holders, totes, drawstring bags, wallets, plastic bag holders, soup koozies, and mixing bowl covers. Its perfect for big and small projects. I sew for fun and give as gifts and everyone is happy with the items I have made on this machine. I would buy again if needed. Thank you!!!!

Se630 4x4 nice machine strong and quiet. Bought at a pawn shop in ft Worth tx, everything was there all accessories and feet.tried to register in my name but got nowhere. Does not matter tho because I like the machine and it does exactly what I wanted in a machine. Would have liked to have it registered to me, but guess a pawnshop buy doesn't count as a purchase. I've completed many projects with it and have many more I still want to do. There was a bit of a learning curve I had to undertake, but all in all everything was straightforward and clear. I'm totally happy with the machine.

It's easy to use, straight forward, and does a great job! This is my first embroidery machine and I was scared the learning curve would be to steep for me, but after one day I had the hang of it!

This machine is a nice little machine.i am very happy with it. I am making a family tree quilt and I am using this machine to put the names on it. I have very expensive machines and I have found this to be a much easier machine to work with. The 4 x 4 frame is to small. I don't know if I can get a bigger one for it. Being able to use a thumb drive with it is a plus for me. Everything was in the box.

This machine has everything I ever needed on a sewing machine for a good price. The instructions are easy to follow, needle threader is great, I'm still gettin use to the embroidery, but so far so good. I love that it has an automatic threat cutter.

Although I haven't used my machine very much, I do enjoy using it. I like the amount of built in stitching, and I did embroider a couple of initials on a doggy sweater, and that came out great. However, when I somehow broke a needle and changed it, the automatic threader does not work anymore. I have another brother sewing machine and the same thing happened with it also. I really needed that threader, since my eyesight is not very good.

Purchased because price was way lower than other brands and models. Easy to operate for sewing but directions for using embroidery features were harder to understand. I would suggest watching online videos, also. Biggest problem I have discovered is that hoop will not work with thicker materials.

very nice feeling machine. embroidery functions are clumsy—i used a ult2002 love that i can set my 1/4 inch unlike many other machines.

The machine continuously breaks my thread and the repair center is too far away i've tried to troubleshoot the machine several times, but it still does not work. I've adjusted detention. I've even replaced the thread with a different brand and it still breaks.
