Restored Ego Turbo Cordless Blower 650 Cfm 3 Speed Kit (Refurbished)

The EGO blower blows hard and it is maintenance free. You can't beat the 5 year warranty either. I have been cussing my Stihl trimmer, blower and edger for years for not starting when i tell them to. No more frustration every spring when i bust out the EGO tools-just action!

I was in a competitors 40v system for a number of years but after losing so many batteries to failure I decided it was time to move on. This blower has so much more power than my previous and I was actually impressed with that at the time. I will say I prefer the flap trigger over the style on this one but it isn't a deal breaker. I could never see myself using it with a 5.0 battery tho I only use the blower for about 2-3 minutes max each time I mow so I put the 2.5 that came with my string trimmer on the blower and the 5 on the trimmer which is perfect. I do like the placement of the turbo button, it's perfect for that extra bit of power. I can't say I've used the dial on the side, nor do I feel I ever will but it's kind of a cool feature, with the 5Ah battery it does get heavy, no issues with the 2.5 tho

This blower is an about 100 CFM's smaller than my other EGO blower, yes, I now have two blowers, I keep one in my building and the other in my utility room in the carport. Although the 650 CFM blower is smaller , it is just as powerful as the larger blower. (I think it's the way the nozzle at the end of the blower is made).

This thing is a beast. Power of a gas-powered blower. Long battery life and will blow powdered snow if not too deep. Love the attachments! Love to trigger lock for large jobs. Highly recommended. Get what ya pay for.

I have used this blower a few times and realize it is a top product for all my needs. Yard work and drying my SUV quickly. The one feature that is concerning is the weight of the product. The back end by the battery is noticeably heavier than the tube section. This causes a slight imbalance of the product which may cause fatigue to the user.

I owned the blower for about 9 months before the circuit board went out. I would say about 10 hours of use before it popped so not very much use at all. Warranty repair so good on Ego for taking care of that. Does fine for light duty stuff like driveways and lawn mower blow off after use. Battery life is sufficient for light use. Just worried about longevity.

So far it works as expected, it has plenty of power to clear my driveway of debris. This is the first battery powered blower I've used and I am impressed with the power and airflow. It is awkward to carry though and even with a 2.5 amp hour battery the weight distribution is off. It would be great if there was a connection for a shoulder strap to minimize the strain on my shoulder and elbows and make the tool more balanced. When the turbo boost is used it is very powerful and will clear all of the grass and even dirt from the drive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely disappointed. Product not working after 2 years and Ego is being very difficult with the warranty. I am awaiting word, but feel they are trying to do everything possible not to honor the warranty. Not a good way to treat a customer

I bought a LB6500 in Nov. 2025 and used it briefly in the fall. It stopped working after 15 minutes this spring. I was sent a replacement thru warranty. The replacement stopped working after 15 minutes. I got a refund. Bought a LB6700, it stopped working after 15 minutes. All three that failed had a manufacture date of Oct. 2024. Very disappointing as I like Ego products. I have the lawnmower, Asher and trimmer. Blowers have a defect…obviously.

Admittedly I did not register my purchase nor save the receipt. The battery was manufactured two years ago. The warranty is for three years. Batter will not charge, "Defective" light indicated ion the charging base. EGO will not replace. Rep would not answer direct question on the logic of it all. Will never buy EGO products again.
