Restored JBL Clip 3 Desert Sand Portable Bluetooth Speaker (Refurbished)

Got one to hang on the mirror of my motorcycle. Unfortunately it wasn't loud enough at highway speeds (decent in town though). The front clip fell off first time it hit the ground, easy glue gun fix. Yet that isn't what inspired this 5 star. The sound is great, as a true clear speaker of high quality should, the fact that it stayed outside (without the face cover) all winter (Ontario, Canada). Found just today (full spring thaw, maybe) thought no way it would work... But it blasted as the day I pulled it out of the box! Great product!

I designed a custom CLIP 3 and CLIP 5 with my company logo to give aways as prizes. Now I want to keep them . . . They look and sound amazing! My favorite feature on the CLIP 3 is that it acts as a phone receiver when I'm working out so I don't have to go for my phone. I'm in LOVE !

I recently bought this to use in a vehicle that has no Bluetooth capabilities, so my intention was to use it for music streaming and map/street-type navigation apps audio. It does the job perfectly for both! I charged it fully out of the box. It took roughly 2.5 hours, and four days later I am still at 70%. (Great battery life and I only had the volume at 50%). Also, I found that my iPhone displays the battery life. I have not fully explored speaker phone function to comment to those needing this, but I do find the sound to be slightly less “perfect” than my music and navigation audio. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my decision to buy the Clip3 versus the other Bluetooth speakers I was looking at, including others made by JBL. It's small, yet sturdy. It has very full sound even though I had read there are no bass controls. You can stream music indoors, outdoors, and in your vehicle flawlessly. This is a big device at a reasonable price.

I decided to splurge and get this because I love my dog so much and I knew the JBL brand was good. I'm so thrilled and happy I did. I love the look, plus the function of the speaker itself. The photo transferred so well and is such great quality. It puts out great sound for a small speaker and I love how easy the clip is to use. I will be taking this with me wherever I go!!

Went on a road trip with my buddy and the car we hired had no functional music system. He had a the Clip 3 in his trunk we immediately got it out and the fun begun. Great sound quality (I'm an audiophile so yeah) perfect portability and the battery is exemplary. We had a 6 hour drive across provinces and it kept us entertained throughout the drive and more hours in. Best genres include EDM and pop. Hip hop also comes of well with deep bases and clear mids. Afro pop and house were expelled very as well. Overall it's ana amazing gadget to have perfect for medium sized rooms/apartments, road trips and even hiking. Definitely a good part of you digital arsenal

I bought this a week ago and I'm not extremely happy with it. Whenever I'm connected to the speaker but am not playing any audio. There is a humming fuzzy sound that comes from the speaker. Also since mine was personalized the picture on the speaker already has some “chips” or missing paint and I haven't dropped the speaker or anything. I'm not sure if I want to return the Clip 3 or not. I'm also disappointed that this model does not have the JBL connect feature, as I can't connect it to the app and can't link to other speakers.

I bought this JBL Clip 3 in January of 2022 it is now May of 2022 and the carabiner on the JBLClip 3 is broken. The carabiner design is weak and flawed. This product is designed to clip on to loops, rings, and straps of clothing and packs along with other items so it can be carried. My JBL Clip 3 broke when being attached to a belt loop on my shorts. Very weak design. I have a JBL Clip 2 that I have had for many years. I have even replaced the battery, the carabiner on the JBL Clip 2 is stout and strong. It still works and functions as well as it did when I bought it with exception of the battery replacement. But after replacing the battery it works great. I do not understand why JBL changed the carabiner to the weak and failure prone clip on the JBL Clip 3. I do like the control access on the face of the Clip 3. All of the other aspects are very similar if not the same. Battery, sounds, size, weight, and style are similar if not the same as the Clip 2 with exception of the carabiner/clip. The JBL Clip 3 has an inferior and design flawed weak carabiner/clip that breaks easily. Do a search on the web for JBL Clip 3 broken carabiner/clip and look at all the images.

I got this as a present for Christmas and it did not work at all!! Every time I tried to connect it to my phone via Bluetooth it kept turning off. I eventually plugged it in with the wire and started to charge it for half an hour and then tried it again and it did the same thing!! Absolute terrible product if i could I would have given it no stars !!

Every time I buy speakers from jbl they break very easily. This one just fall apart. I had to call and get it replaced. When I purchase an item I expect not to have issues with it. This is 2 weeks of using it at home. Not even one adventure on the Clip speaker.

I love this speaker! I have had one myself for 2 years and I take it everywhere with me! I wanted to order one for my sister who is about to get married and put her name on it and the speaker did not come in the right pattern. I had stripes on it in her favorite colors and it came in solid pink. If I wanted solid pink I would have ordered the solid pink one for $10 less... Also you can barely even read the words because the font is so small. I was VERY VERY disappointed. Do not personalize, such a waste of money. I'm just waiting for them to email me and tell me I can't return it.
