I have bought this as a Christmas gift for my son, hopefully he will enjoy them
I have used many headsets over the years. The JBL Quatum 610 is the best of them all. Thanks to the super long battery life, it is finally an alternative to a wired headset. But that is just one of many advantages. It is very comfortable to wear, the sound is extremely good in combination with the QuatumENGINE (be sure to install the software). Finally, a small but extremely good feature for me should be mentioned, the microphone automatically mutes when you fold it up. For me a clear buy recommendation
I absolutely recommend the JBL Quantum 610 Wireless headphones to any kind of passionate (online)gamer. Long lasting battery (lastedün about several days of permanent use). The earpads have a pretty nice depth and a total comfy cushioning as well. The mic is movable and works as you would expect it to work: Perfectly! My favorite feature is the mute switch right next to the mic for when getting angry :D I have used and tested them with our computer, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Overall the best gaming headphones i‘ve got to use. Go get them!!! :)
Reason for the search I wanted a headset with which I can listen to music, chat in Discord, listen to Netflix and various media libraries. It should be wireless, comfortable, well padded and especially suitable for people who wear glasses. In addition, a cool design, a microphone that can be adjusted variably and maybe something with lighting I found all of that with the JBL Quantum 610. But first things first... The scope of delivery included the headset, a windscreen for the microphone, an adapter for the PC, a USB 3.0 charging cable and an audio cable. The whole thing came in a cloth bag, in which you can store everything well. The initial setup with the adapter works really well and quickly, almost without using the instructions. It worked well at first, but in order to set the headset perfectly, you have to have the appropriate app (Windows 11) running on the PC. After that you could adjust the tones, the micro-sensitivity, the LED lighting and many other settings and adjust the headset to really suit your hearing and the respective purpose. After the initial charge of about 3 hours, I was always able to use the headset completely empty, if I use it for about 3 hours every day, I could get by with it for almost 5 days without charging, of course without LED lighting. With the lighting about a day shorter. Various LED displays explain the status to the user. A few combinations as an example: USB dongle flashes white - no connection to the headset USB Dongle Solid white - Connected to headset Solid white on headset – Powered on and connected to dongle Red on mic - mic is muted In general, the headset can be worn for a long time without getting too warm underneath or becoming uncomfortable. I can also confirm the problem of the glasses brackets under the ear pads, which are not available. I can wear the headset with glasses without causing pain and being uncomfortable. When the Mirko is flipped up, it automatically mutes. This is a very good function if you tend to forget to mute. In general you can say that it is a really good headset with great battery life and excellent sound. The modern look and the LED lighting are also a great eye-catcher for this headset in its price range.
Very comfortable, great quality audio. Battery life great. Easy to connect. Volume dial a little easy to knock, but easy enough to sort out. Overall very happy.
It has some decent features and good quality sound but the amount of driver and firmware issues is actually stupid, im reinstalling the drivers ever 6 hours because it decided to change its sound frequency settings by itself which causes alot of audio warping. The software also doesnt actually do much, it provides you with fake information
If you want a Sub-par headset that'll last you exactly 2 years, this is the one for you. The microphone quality is not at all that great. It just sounds like an okay quality megaphone that is OVERLY sensitive and the Quantum software doesn't seem to have any way to change voice settings (noise gate etc). It will pick up ALL noise in your immediate area. If you breathe, move, adjust the headset, scratch your face, this will be picked up at volume. As well after 2 years, the mic will just stop working on you for short periods of time. You need to spend a few minutes flicking it on and off constantly. The battery will literally just plummet with integrity after 2 years as well. It will probably last 2-4hours before needing to be charged again. And it needs to be charged for a considerable amount of time. It isn't overly comfortable for the top of your head. It'll feel like a thing strip of plastic is gently digging into your brain, which is crazy considering it has cushioning. Bluetooth range is really good. Speaker quality can not be faulted either, but the overall quality of the headset itself wouldn't justify the purchase. It feels like a ticking time bomb that is programmed to break after 2 years.
The material used on the earpads and headband is poor quality and will peel off badly within a year. The glue used on the headband to hold the material will unstick within a year. (no cleaning chemicals were used, no direct sunlight and no hot temps) The headset will automatically cut off sound after a few seconds of no audio, and when a new sound is played it will cut of the beginning of the sound. Very difficult to have a voice conversation having to ask others to repeat themselves all the time... There is no option to disable this. The closed back design and inability to turn the sound down very low without the sound cutting out completely has caused ringing in my ears. (I never play anything at loud or even medium volume) I would avoid these headphone at all costs. A most regretful purchase.
After not even half a year of having said product, it turns off every few seconds whilst being plugged in, half of the sound had stopped working unless the wire was placed in a certain way.
There is very few good things about this headset +The nylon USB C cable it comes with. +sits comfortably on your head and is easy to adjust, but can get sweaty fast as its leather +the ear cushions are easy to clean as they are leathery This thing has immense quality control and quality of use issues -The audio quality is bad and sounds muffled, the surround sound included in their app sounds laughably bad. -The microphone is low quality and sounds terrible to people on the other end. -Extremely LOUD alert chimes that you cant disable or lower the volume of, when you power it on/off, its low on batteries or lose connections and reconnect -The Bluetooth range is weak and barely works past a few meters and regardless of range even when you're next to the dongle it ill keep and keep cutting out over and over again each time pinging you with an extremely loud chime that leaves your ears rigging. -It will randomly power off regardless of how battery life left or when while charging -If you use the headphones while charging you will hear a noticeable and constant buzzing noise -The pc application for it is near useless, the only thing its good for was turning off the light on the headset -There's no indicator or notch on the 2 volume wheels to know if you have your chat audio high or low forcing you to open the PC app to look at the audio balancing there -the list of issue goes on and on but im forgetting the rest of the more minor issues You can get significantly better products for significantly cheaper anywhere else with any other brand, do not ever buy this. I had such an awful experience with it I will never ever buy another JBL product in my life and actively tell other to not buy from this brand. Everyday I am resisting the urge to throw this thing in a shredder
