Very nice product. I upgraded to this appliance for its larger 3.5 cup size. I use it nearly every day and everything about it is superior to and better designed than the unit (different manufacturer) it replaced.
Came just like new. I needed one with a handle on it makes getting the cutting bowl on and off easier. It's very easy operate. It's the the perfect size for small families. I love it!
I purchased this about 3 months ago, it is perfect for small jobs, works great, priced great because it was refurbished.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even if the product is a small cup but it is enough for a small family, with good quality, and is very useful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this food chopper to make salsa and guacamole and it works fantastic for that. It does much more than I thought too - crushes peanuts for my key lime pie pecan crust, chops all of the herbs my wife grows for me so I can use them dried throughout the year, and even pureed pumpkin for my dog's treats!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a Christmas gift and love it best gift I've ever gotten this year and I use it to make homemade butter chopped vegetables and sport drinks love how easy it is to clean and how it makes just the right amount of food without taking up too much counterspace in my small kitchen!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found that this works as well as the one I had from another brand name. The hidden start/stop not intuitive at all. I use this frequently for chopping onions, celery, and making salad dressing.
I gave this to stars because I had a rough time with the lid and that could just be me and my arthritis. I've always thought KitchenAid products were good so this time around I think it's just me.
What an ordeal! When I received this it had a large chip, the size of a walnut, missing from the edge of the pitcher. The box wasn't damaged and the missing chip was not in the box so they sent it to me that way. So I contacted KitchenAid through Walmart and was told via email the next day that KitchenAid would contact me within 48 hours. Three days later I had not heard from them so I went through the whole thing again and was told, again, I would be contacted within 48 hours. It's been another four days and guess what? I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM KITCHENAID. I'll never buy anything made by them again.
I love my KitchenAid food chopper, so when my old one started failing, I looked to get a replacement for the same product. I bought a refurbished food chopper from this website but I am not 100% regretting it. It was terribly packed (the parcel wasn't even properly tapped up) and when I opened up the box, I noticed that it had no cushioning whatever around the chopper to protect it during the delivery. Worse still, when I took out the food chopper, I realized that the cup for the chopper is cracked in many ways and if filled with liquid, it would leak, making this product completely defective upon arrival. Look, I know this is a refurbished unit and I'm not looking for a new product. I am however looking for a functional product and KitchenAid has completely failed me.
