First Kobo after 6 years with Kindle Paperwhite. Thrilled to enjoy Kobo's Paperwhite equivalent at $10 less than refurbished models on Amazon or Kobo site. Fast shipping. Screen had protective plastic on it to remove and looked new, there are no fingerprints or scratches anywhere, and battery holds its charge well. Regarding Kobo, it's much faster than my Kindle, so I can flip through pages and understand the story better. Also I love that it tells me how many literal Kobo pages are left on each chapter, in terms of how many pages turns will get me to the next chapter rather than any other measure that doesn't make sense to me like a 6 digit location number. Most importantly for me is the Pocket integration. i also got Kobo Libra 2, so can confirm this has most up to date Kobo software with a list of your Pocket articles from your free account that read just like a book on this device. Wonderful. Overdrive integration is nice, but I wish you could browse through literally only available books sorted by popularity. the overdrive integration gives you pre-populated lists like"Newest Additions" to the library, and some aren't available (can place a hold). But you can search for any book in your library and borrow right from your Clara. Overall, highly recommend.
