Awesome A/C

Johnny March 20, 2019

The room where we installed it gets really cold, it is a little noisy but works very good!

Good unit with a couple of fixes

GearJunky May 25, 2022

I ran the LG LW1516ER for two years, and then replaced it with a 230volt 28K monster. 15K is about as big as you can get on 115volts. The unit ran well, but just did not have the output for anything over 105 degrees outside which presented a problem, as MOST of my summer days in Arizona are WELL ABOVE 105 degrees F. The biggest problem with the new unit is a rattle that comes from the fan shroud that I took care of by running a piece of wood from one side vent, to the other side vent pressing down on the shroud which took care of the noise. The other problem I noticed when I removed the unit, was that the evaporator coil fins were completely filled with dirt on the surface. This is a design flaw with how the pull out filter works, and that is, it is pulled out, and then pushed in, and you don't see the coil fins at all. I would highly recommend removing the plastic face at least once every season to clean the fins.

Fooled me once

Doneboughtit April 29, 2019

0 stars. This air conditioner had not been reconditioned. It was busted up and when I tried to run it sounded like I had put large rocks in a clothes dryer. I carried it back the next day. I don't trust Walmart anymore

Terrible packaging

Linda September 15, 2021

The packaging was a disaster. No packing materials in the inside at all. How it arrived not in pieces is unknown.
