Overall, this product is well-designed with the buttons being much stronger and more durable than the stock model. The buttons are comprised of a magnetically strong compound metal that is very durable. The controller comes with two different set of buttons and joysticks that are easily changeable via a magnetic connection. The controller itself is a better built product with a stronger plastic casing. The controller comes with a padded zipper case designed with slots to fit your extra button and joysticks. At first glance the magnetic buttons had me question how well they would stay attached to the controller but the unique design makes the buttons attach in sort of a keyhole mechanism that makes them stay in place for even the most aggressive gaming. Overall, this product exceeded expectations, however, getting used to using the rear paddle buttons can take some time to get used to as for many years the two middle fingers were never used with previous controllers and it can feel foreign or uncomfortable for some time but even eventually it will become normal.

would be a zero star if that was an option. goldstar tech sent it with mud , honey mustard and cat hair all over the controller. several buttons don't even function.

We love the elite controller, but sadly made the mistake of trusting that the refurbished option would be in decent condition. The controller was scratched, the back panels fall off frequently on boyh sides, and the batteries were not in the pack unlike the description indicated. We had to go buy another from a different source as the one purchased continues to interupt gaming with it's defects.

The rating of the review is not based on the Controller itself, it is for the reseller. I loved my last Xbox One Elite Controller, it lasted me through 100s if not 1,000s of hours of gameplay. I would give this controller 5 stars everytime, highly recommended. I purchased a refurbished controller through Gold Star Tech and when I first used the device, one of the buttons did not work. After a few different emails with their support, which seemed very disjointed (could have been because it was right around the Holiday) I got a shipping label to return the controller, either for a refund or exchange. I requested an exchange, but was issued a refund because they did not see the note that they requested I include with my specific request. In all, I was very disappointed with the who experience with Gold Star Tech. I'll be purchasing another controller, from a different reseller in the near future.
