Great products, these cameras are working seamlessly and they have US based tech support if needed! Very happy we went with the NEST products after purchasing 2 other brands cameras and not happy with those. Reliable notifications, clear picture, easy software.

The camera and the video is so clear . I put it in my personal office next to the glass door, back entrance, hall way. Im able to see pretty much that entire area. Not much traffic. It sends me notification when someone walks by or goes inside the office. My only thing is my new internet provider . You need a lot of data to make it work.

Bought this to use as a baby monitor. Works great. Picture quality is way better than any baby monitor we've tried. Spent an extra $20 to buy a Joby Gorilla Tripod.

The camera was easy step by step to set up. Picture is HD and clear and you have the ability to enhance up to 4.0 on an area. You can set it up to alert you via EMAIL of sound or movement inside our outside an area. When connected to other nest products IE Smoke detector, if the smoke/co2 detector goes off, or the thermostat is on away, the camera will come on and record.. If you want to save any recording, you have to pay a fee to NEST of 99 dollars a year that goes to the cloud and you can down load as needed for up to 7 days. They have other plans also. The sound and talk back was excellent. I can hear the clock ticking.

The original Nest cameras a great. You have to have a Nest account. I prefer them over the redesigned aGoogle Nest cameras

Feeling a whole lot safer .. I live in an apartment complex so I have them pointed out.

Install was super easy. Already had the app installed for Nest locks.

Great image quality and super easy to install

I recently decided to try to save a few bucks and instead of re enlisting in my nest cam cloud storage at $100 a year I decided to purchase a samsung 1080p pro camera with sd card included for the same $100. What a waste of time that was ,you can not scrub through the video like in the nest cam app. Samsung's app is lacking first always reverts to low rez ,it won't stay on hd ( must do this to save bandwidth) then to watch what its continuously recorded it gives you a list of events then you must click on the icon wait until it access`s the sd card and finally it will play the video.Not what you were looking for? well then you do it all over again and choose a different event this takes a long time, all this to see if the mail man has come or not. With the Nest cam and the Nest aware it take a minute tops.I'm using the 2012- 720p Dropcams and the picture is actually clearer than the new 1080p samsung 1080p pro-cam. I just ordered a new 2016 Nest Cam 1080p it's supposed to be even a better picture than the old dropcams and uses the same app I love.

I have 3 of these cameras. I use one for a baby monitor and the others for security. The picture is clear in day and night. Sound is great, microphone is great. I've had a few problems buying the subscription and had to "mexico out" but the eventually gave me three months free for the nonsense. Overall great hardware, payment support needs help. Only camera I know of that stores everything in the cloud so if your camera is stolen, you can still see the bad guy as opposed to DVR based systems.
