Restored Samsung DeX Station - Black (Refurbished)

I have been searching for a solution to the problem ov maintaining two devices. I am constantly tryime to manage an track documents cand notes. Ted Dex unit may not be a solution for everyone but is a Great step in the right direction. I was using a Samsung S7, that did not have the capability to use the Dex, too bad. I steped up and made the investment with the SamSung Note 8 with the Dex rather then the HP Windows phone solution dut to a software compatability issue with an android app. I believe bI made the right choice. I would buy a Dex Laptop if it existed, the HP has potrable screen keyboard in a laptop design that wirelessle interfaces to there product, this my thought for the next generation Dex compliment

I use the DeX Station with my Galaxy Note 8 for everything work related at my craft brewery job. From spreadsheets to emails, it does everything I need and more. I even built our company website entirely on the Note 8 via the DeX. It totally replaced my laptop and desktop.

Great accessory! You can turn most monitors and TVs into a desktop experience. HDMI to HDMI was the best option. I tried on an older TV/ monitor that didn't have HDMI. I bought a composite to HDMI cable and it was a no go, so I had to go to a big TV.. I've had about 30 mins of interaction with this and I'm so excited to get a permanent set up in my house. I highly recommend this to anyone who like to get on and mess with a desktop like experience. I could watch videos, drop and drag, multiple windows open without a hitch. Recently shared my experience with a couple friends and they bought as well.

I love this product! Watch everything on my Samsung t.v when connect to Dec. Better with a 55"screen than a 19". Recommend this to all Samsung owners.

Connecting to my Virtual Machine has never been easier! no need to carry a laptop just the Dex & a HDMI cable since almost every hotel now has flat screen TV's Its an IT persons dream come true! although dual monitor support would be a huge plus

Still using mine regularly for desktop publishing and light gaming the only downfall is lacking of multi-monitor support

Is this compatible to Note 9? I insert my Note 9, I don't get any response, not even the charging function

Overall performance is excellent with no issues using word/excel/powerpoint files. I have not worked with large files but the performance so far has been outstanding. The price is expensive. I would like one at home and at work but at the current price point I will only have one. I cannot use my (unnamed case) with DEX, it must be removed. Shipping was longer than I expected. I am used to 2 day shipping and the pricing on the other website was similar.

Samsung Pay app comes on by itself when the phone is inserted in the DeX. Samsung Pay's home screen often stays on after closed on DeX and when phone is taken off the DeX.

If you plan on using a protective case, it will not work. Before I purchased my case, my phone fit on the station. An adapter would be a quick fix. I could remove my case every time I want to hook it up, but who does that to charge their phone every night (I know, its not just a charger)? Most monitors will be connected to a computer, so I don't see it has value that way especially when you can access files from the cloud.
