Worth it but there was visible defect
Great deal! My TV did come with an almost one inch scratch on the screen. Wouldn't have been that noticeable or bothersome, except the scratch was obviously caused by some sort of impact to the tv. There seems to be a white spot where the scratch is inside the panel, which is fairly noticeable with dark movies/pictures. Ultimately I got what I paid for, and can mostly hide the scratch with lighter images. It's still slightly visible from 2-3 feet away, but for $599, I'm overall happy with the purchase.
