My aging eyes were having difficulty reading banners and sport info inserts. This 65" beauty solved this issue. The picture quality and color rendition are best of the major brands I compared. I've owned 3 other Sony TV's since the 60's and 2 other brands. Sony is the best and worth a little extra $.
Very well packed and recommend this seller, I am posting my review after throughly checking the TV quality I received and prompt responses from seller, not sure why sone Customers has issues with the seller. Sony TV is great and from my preference list LG C2 is other good alternative too.
We fell in love with this TV seeing it on display and from online reviews knew it had amazing upscaling... how good though we had no idea! We have other friends with nice OLED TVs but none compare to the clarity when watching older TV show or DVDs. While we normally use our Apple TV, which works perfectly with it, but the included Google interface is very nice, easy to get around in and very fast. We purchased the Apple TV because our old TV's interface was slow and cumbersome. I have owned Sony TVs since the 70s and purchased another brand last time, it was a good TV but not a Sony. We are very happy to be back in our familiar Sony camp again! Last thing, even the packing and documentation was well done, it was like they thought of everything and the OTA updates have already added features we thought we might miss out on. Thank you Sony!
This is my 3rd Sony TV in 20 years. They are very dependable. The last two still worked fine, however the picture brightness started to fade. Never had a problem with either one. The picture quality and color on my new one is great. The Bravia is a little more expensive than the entry model, but well worth it.
I don't use all the features because we use an Apple TV so I can't speak to all the features, which I am still exploring. Sony is second to none for picture quality IMO. The picture is awesome and the sound coming coming straight out of the screen is pretty cool and sounds much better than the old down firing speakers our old Sony LCD screen had. The sound is fine without external speakers. We do not use a soundbar or surround setup. I gave it a 3 for build quality because this was the second one. The screen frame wasn't completely attached to the back of the first unit so we had to exchange it. This was the first time I've had a build issue with any Sony product, ever. I've probably owned at least a dozen Sony products over the years so I choose to chalk this one up as an exception.
I recently installed Starlink after years of waiting, cut the Directv wires and needed a smart TV. I tried a smaller LG tv and was disappointed so I returned it and got this one. This one is perfect!
I've had this only for about a week and a half. All is pretty good, satisfied with the picture, but very disappointed they left out "Variable Audio Out" so you can control your volume on your connected stereo with only the Sony remote. This was and still is a needed function. My 2018 Sony XBR-65X900F had this function, why not this more expensive TV? Can they not add that android routine that was in Android 9, and port it to this version Android 10 on this new TV? Maybe I'll just take it back before the 30 in store return policy expires. Poor showing on this Sony!!!
I found that the picture was not bright enough set at factory settings. I had to make some picture adjustments to get it brighter. If the picture was brighter this TV would get. 5 Star review. I have a Bose sound system, but this TV has very good quality sound. There is no shadowing in dark scenes. Dark to light variations are crisp. The TV screen has a anti glare finish that works pretty good. This OLED is almost twice the cost of a edge lit LCD, so that is something to consider.
The TV picture quality and features are good. The Google ads I get every time it turns on infuriates me. I want zero Google in my life, particularly in my own living room.
