Restored Sony STR-DH190 Stereo Receiver with Phono Input and Bluetooth Connectivity (Refurbished)

I was looking for a replacement for my very old receiver. I needed a replacement that would accept a phono (record turntable) input. The Sony STR-DH190 was one of the few I could find that would do that. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it also had Bluetooth connectivity as well as a front jack for connecting portable devices. Not only do I have my Record Turntable connected, but I run my TV audio through it, and I use the portable device jack to connect my Korg synthesizer keyboard! I also use Bluetooth to connect my phone, tablet, and desktop computer. Every function works just as expected. I am very pleased with this purchase!

I purchased this product so I could enjoy playing my LPs on a turntable. The music sounds pure as it is paired with Edifier speakers. With the ability to stream via Bluetooth, I can stream from my iPhone, iPod and iPad. I need not suffer listening to my music through the device's speaker. I have powerful room filling music passing through my Sony DTR-DH190 receiver. Also, there are 4 additional inputs not including the phono input for a total of 5. The phono input has an all important ground connection. Two pairs of speakers can be connected, if you choose.

The STR-DH190 is replacing an older Sony Stereo/Video Receiver that is no longer available. I needed A & B Speakers for wired outdoor speakers, which it has. It would be nice if it had a preamp in/out for my Bose 901 Equalizer, but the speakers sound fine without it. Turntable with ground wire works as intended. Also have a Cassette and CD Player connected. The Bluetooth was easy to sync with my android phone. Most of my use is FM Radio, with good reception with the supplied antenna. Volume knob has a nice heft/resistance when turning. Manual buttons, input selector knob and remote are easy to use, with understandable display on Receiver.

I bought this receiver a month ago and I couldn't be happier with it. I love the bluetooth option on it. I backed it with a great set of speakers and subwoofer. Also I get to listen to all my old vinyl . Love my new system!

I can hear endless free music using smart phone and YouTube. Sounds better than using CD player. The Bluetooth volume of this Sony works better than the volume of the Yamaha 202. More adjustability and louder.

I wanted a receiver that had phono inputs. The STR-DH190 shot to the top of my choices from other competitors. Dedicated phono inputs, stylish, and priced for my budget. A feature I liked was being able to type in a name for the inputs. Another unexpected feature I liked was the "Pure Direct" button. While listening to an album, I pressed the Pure Direct button and the already good sound clarity of the album was enhanced more. I find the remote is simple to use. This product has brought back my music groove.

We were looking for a receiver compatible with our unit from the 70's that would accommodate our reel to reel allowing recording and playback. This receiver more than compensated that use as well as plug ins for phono and other accessories. We love everything about this receiver!!

Needed a simple receiver with a phone input. The turntable plays great. Use a small portable CD player into one of the inputs and works great. Bluetooth connects great. Picks up plenty of FM stations. Use the remote for all functions. Always had Sony components and never fail. Great buy.

Excellent excellent stereo very good radio reception reasonable price all that you could want and a replacement stereo for one that was 30 years old

I didn't pay attention to the total watt output. had looked at several. very pleased, was refurbished like new and i agree.
