Retrax by RealTruck EQ Tonneau Cover Fits 2019-2024 Ram 1500 New Body 6'4" No RB

The EQ tonneau cover was exactly what I was looking for. Looks great, easy to operate, and it ties into the OEM key fob which was the cherry on top. When I had attach problem with my order, RealTruck made it right when they didn't have to. Would highly recommend.

Retrax customer for life here. At first I was like this product is way over engineered. Once I got comfortable with removing pieces of my interior on a brand new truck everything went together smoothly. Two electrical connections required on to the odb2 and one to the body control module. This is where year models differ. Some are behind dash and some are behind kick panel on drivers side. Neat product that allows you blue tooth control and oem key fob control.

The Yakima OverHaul HD is, in my opinion, one of the best bed rack systems currently available for overland and expedition vehicles. It looks great, feels extremely solid, and offers a level of flexibility that is hard to find elsewhere. What I particularly like is the ability to adjust both the height and the spacing between the uprights, making it easy to adapt the setup for everything from a rooftop tent to carrying longer gear. Another nice touch is Yakima's built-in bottle opener. It may seem like a small detail, but it's one of those features that always gets a smile around camp. That said, the system is not without its drawbacks. My biggest complaint is the limited availability of accessories through Yakima's official European distribution channels. Depending on where you live, finding certain parts can be surprisingly difficult. The other downside is the SideBar accessory system. If you want to add, remove, or reposition accessories mounted to the SideBars, you often have to partially or completely remove the SideBar itself, which is less convenient than it should be. Overall, despite these shortcomings, the OverHaul HD has proven to be a highly functional, versatile, and well-built solution for anyone building a serious overland vehicle

I recently purchased the Retrax EQ from RealTruck, for my 2020 RAM 1500 with the rambox. I LOVE IT !! Great quality, smooth operation, quiet and the best part is it works with the oem key fob. Installation was a little time consuming, the hardest part was the programing and pairing to the truck. VERY happy with this product.

This is the best cover on the market in my opinion. I have owned many different types and this is the best unit I have ever owned. A little pricey but worth it.

Overall, the cover works as advertised. The only complaint is that it is a little clunky when it closes, see the video. There were a couple of issues with the installation that were unexpected and weren't covered in the instructions. 1. The control modules were not straightforward and not exactly as described in the guide. We had to get on YouTube to find clearer guidance. 2. The instructions didn't address, at least that I could find, what to do when the left and right motors were not synchronized, which occurred initially and has also occurred once since the installation. YouTube had the answer, which was to open and close to cover repeatedly until they were in synch.

Opening and closing, very slow process. Sometimes doesn't respond to key fob. Installation: When it comes to wiring, why are there 7 or 8 plugs and a harness the size of an eagles nest? When it simply plugs in to the OBII. (I assume the harness fits all makes and models, just seems like a waste of material. And I had to store all that extra waste up in the dash). The drain tubes for water are so thin, they'll be trashed in a few years.

Having issues with pairing phone to module. Not sure if truck being a 2026 has anything to do with it or not. Would be nice if instructions for cab wiring mentioned to look for truck wiring plugs closest to kick panel as mine was different than all online videos. Again, this could be due to truck being a 2026. The factory bed rail cap on the passenger side causes front clamp that secures cover to truck bed to be difficult to secure, goes on crooked and hard to tighten correctly. Again, could be due to truck being 2026.

After the first order arrived it was damaged and missing parts. Had to send it back, Second one arrived damaged and missing the same parts, they sent me the missing parts. Now screws were missing on the wind up reel. Now the third one arrived missing the exact same part as the other two. Finally get it installed and now it won't pair and the instructions were not helpful. Checked on youtube and still not helpful. Call on Monday and got MADISON. All I can say is THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH YOU WERE AMAZING. Now it it all set up and ready to use.

The unit is built well, but instructions are lacking and you need TWO apps to install, not one. One app to install, one app to operate. I purchased it over a month ago and the app to install for Android is still not available. The app to operate is available. Retrax was absolutely zero help. Finally, I found someone willing with an iphone to download the app and install on their iPhone. The cover now works, the app to operate the cover does work on Android. You just can't install it - absolutely patethetic.
