Great collector's edition of this movie. Most people hate this movie; I really liked it. As a descent into madness, things are supposed to look strange and maybe not make lots of sense on first watch.

this is a nice return to silent hill. James returns after receiving a letter from his girlfriend Mary. returning to a town shrouded by darkness. James looks for Mary running into monsters and other obstacles along his way to find her.

The story was good overall. The picture looks fantastic in 4K. If you like the movie and are on the fence on whether to choose 4K or Blu-ray, choose this version (which also comes with a regular Blu-ray).

Beautiful Steelbook and the move while not like the games is very entertaining and heavy on vibes over story (Associate)

Return to Silent Hill delivers an engaging and atmospheric experience, even if it strays from its roots. Rather than a faithful 1:1 adaptation of the Silent Hill 2 Video Game, the film feels more like a reinterpretation, introducing changes that may not resonate with longtime fans of the Games. While the story remains compelling and the film is consistently entertaining, one of its biggest drawbacks is the special effects, which fall short compared to the first Silent Hill film. Despite this, the movie succeeds in holding attention and delivering a memorable, eerie experience.

i like the movie enjoyed watching it wish it was longer, kinda of reminds me of the game, but i like that they put their spin on it. came damaged the movie but bought another movie from amazon. not sure if i would order from them again for movies

This is a very nice steebook nice arteotk and slipcover exclusive to Walmart for a movie thats not great. if your not into collecting steelbooks i would say juat give this a rent or stream.

The 4k steelbook Walmart Exclusive slip cover of Return to Silent Hill is awesome and is visually a great addition to anyone looking to add to their steelbook collection. The disc comes with a couple of short special features as well. As for the film, and as someone who has watched all of the films but NOT played the games, Return to Silent Hill is better to stream than buy on physical. The film looks great in places, feeling very much like a live action video game in terms of cinematography, but also has some distracting CGI that is worse than the first film from 2006. That being said, the return to the psychological nature of this series is a welcome one and there are compelling themes present here, even if they are sloppily executed. If you want a cool steelbook and are a fan of the previous Silent Hill movies, I'd recommend this steelbook. If you want to just see the film, stream it and decide if it's worthy of your movie shelf afterwards. I personally found it to be not as good as the original Silent Hill film, but better the Silent Hill Revelation.

Movie was not what I was expecting. I love this franchise and thought that it would have followed the Silent Hill 2 game story, a little more closely but this movie was erratic and it seemed like the storyline fell apart after awhile.
