Perfect size for my little 11 dollar Mainstay 5 cup coffee maker. Well its hard to pay 11 dollars for a filter but it is as perfect as I can hope for. Fits well, stainless steel I hope and pray and just exactly what I was looking for but hoping to spend way less.

I bought a new 5 cup coffee pot which was a perfect size to replace the large 12 cup coffee maker I had. The only issue was my large reusable filter didn't fit the new coffee maker. Wal Mart did not sell one in the store I shop at and opted to search online. I found this one and was so pleased with how well it worked I purchased a second one to have when one is in the dishwasher. Would recommend this product as it saves money and works well. I do still purchase and use paper filters for company as there will be a slight coffee residue you may not want for entertaining. For myself I enjoy the slight coffee ground residue as it adds to the flavor of the coffee.

I have a Black & Decker 5-cup automatic coffeemaker that did not come with a permanent filter, so I had to start using messy paper filters. I looked all over in the retail stores and on-line and was not able to find a permanent filter that would fit a coffee basket as small as mine.............all of the ones I found were very large and made to fit 8 to 12 cup coffeemakers. Finally I found this filter on the Walmart website and it fits perfectly even though it says that is is for a 4-cup coffeemaker. What the filter manufacturers don't realize is that most single people don't own huge coffeemakers and don't make 8 to 12 cups of coffee at a time. They own the smaller 4 to 6 cup coffeemakers and it is almost impossible to find permanent filters to fit the coffee baskets on these smaller machines.

Well made and fit my husband's small Mr Coffee coffee pot perfectly. Will need to purchase another one for my mom when they become available again.

My mother accidentally threw out her permanent filter when her old 4-cup Mr Coffee died. I had to buy online because they seem to have only cone shapes in the stores. Fits perfectly.... works beautifully!

No paper filters needed, just empty/wash and use again

Great replacement if the basket it comes with cracks or is accidentally thrown out. It's plastic, easy to use. Just put the grinds in and rinse out. I even still use the paper coffee filter also.

It works, but is not shaped like the one pictured. The problem with buying on line is the information you have to work with and the final result at your door step. I still give better ratings to Wal Mart then amazon. This was an average on line purchase even with the delay.

The bottom of this filter is a solid piece of plastic, not a filter mesh. The water/coffee only flows out the sides, not through the bottom. Gravity using a filtered mesh on the bottom would be very helpful, but the image shown is incorrect. Also, the handle does not securely snap into place and comes apart from the side holes that are supposed to hold it in place. I've removed it since it's worthless. You get what you pay for here, but the photo being incorrect is really frustrating when you buy it because you want a filter with mesh sides and bottom for better flow through the grounds.

It's a very well-made product. The problem is that the botton of the filter is wire, not plastic. When the water goes over the coffee grounds, they go through instantly. The coffee comes out very weak. The original Black and Decker filter had a plastic bottom where the ground sit. I removed the new wire filter and went back to using the one that came with it. The bottom of the filter HAS to be solid plastic to allow enough time for the coffee to release from the grounds!
