Revlon colorsilk 48 burgundy permanent hair color, 1.0 kit

I had never used this brand in all my years of self-coloring, though I do use many Revlon makeup products (especially lipstick). In fact, that's why I chose it because it seems reasonable that a company who gets it right regarding my personal skin coloring, may get it right about my hair color as well. Must've been a great decision because I received so many compliments last night at the Bruce Hornsby concert. Made me feel like a million bucks! And, dollar for dollar...I did my own hair and paid for premium seating for the price of salon coloring alone. Thumbs up from me.

I like this product very, very much. The salon never gets it right , so I do my own hair coloring. This is the one I reach for. It is easy to apply.

At first I was afraid to try this on my hair because it's so inexpensive. But I thought I would give it a try because I wanted one that was ammonia free and they are hard to find. I'm so glad I bought this. I will never pay high price again for hair dye. I got excellent results. I am going gray on top and it covered the gray perfectly. My hair turned out great. It was very soft and shinny. It lasts about 8 weeks before I need to do a touch up and I only do the top of my head when the gray starts to show. The color seems to last much longer on the lower half of my hair. That could be because I am a natural redhead and my hair just takes to the color. One box will do all of my hair and my hair is long, past the middle of my back. I have used it 3 times now and I get perfect results every time.

This is wonderful the revlon color silk beautiful color hair color the color selection is awesome I just love the coverage too the hint of a scent is fab and the hair tectois lovely silky and very soft the application process was brilliant it took no time at all

I have been using this hair colour for years. It's so easy to mix up and apply. It covers my grey hairs very well and once rinsed out my hair is very shiny and soft. I really like the conditioner that comes in the box. I purchase this because it's cheap and the colour is very rich and lovely.

I literally made an account just to leave this review. My hair was dead from bleach, my bf described it as "barbie hair". I dyed it dirty blonde and immediately noticed a difference, my hair felt softer. I decided to go fully black just a couple days later using the same brand, and I'm 100% certain this product revived most of my dead hair.

I used the Burgundy and it came out perfect! A perfect burgundy color. See my pictures. I have dark brown roots and had lightened my hair previously. Wanting to grow out my natural color, I thought this is the perfect fall color and it will cover up my own color growing out. But I love it so much I may just keep it for a long time. It does wash out pretty fast tho, so buy a few to keep on hand. Priced right

I have a lot of Greys so need to colour my hair quite regularly this is such a great hair colour and a very pretty colour does exactly what it says especially the hair colour pictures shows exactly what you will achieve with which hair colour you currently have. It made my hair quite smooth afterwards and shiny.

This colour is pretty good, it gives a rich colour and shiny finish. The red was exactly as I'd thought it would be, matched the box expectations for my colour to a tee. It starts to fade pretty quickly though, losing its luster and leaving the colour a bit dull.

I bought this product over the lockdown because I wasn't able to get to the salon and I wasn't able to get any professional dye. I thought it should be a decent neutral toned dark brown… but it turned out extremely brassy at the roots… I'm a seasoned hair colourist so I know how to dye my hair… but this was not worth the time..
