i usually get the more expensive black box dyes like schwartzfopf(or however you spell it or John Frieda foam dye that cost 3x the price of this revlon. and this is just as good as those more expensive ones in every way. the dye looks exactly the same in color, it lasts just as long, it isnt more damaging to hair... there's no reason to spend 3x the price, I'm learning. its all the same. its just about making sure you pick the right color. totally worth switching to this revlon dye!
I just did a review on this cause.I buy it all the time.I've been buying this for about 35 years.Media in my hair with this since I was 16 years old, and I am now 64 young.I'll take pictures. My daughter also been using it.We use ultralight, natural blonde. My daughter uses ultra light ash blonde Our\nHair is not dried out at all.Silky you'll see in the pictures
i have been using these for years and i dont want to use anything else, my hair r is an has been all the way down to my booty dark brown, n i am currently in my late 50's so way more gray now to cover, but i had an incident when i was 23 (Very Scary) woke up in the hospital with a WHITE streak going right down my hair in the front left side NOT gray or silvery but brite white and after a few years i want it gone but i cant cut it out it grows right back same place always white so i started using this hair dye and it works perfectly nothing else has even BRAND NAME exspensive dyes dont cover that streak and now all my gray : ) like this and the best part is its so very inexpensive and so many colors to choose from, if you are thinking about it just get it you will not be sorry Thank You Walmart for all the year of coverage (my hair an wallet) :)
was a bit scared of the color but am pleasantly surprised left my hair so smooth and soft color turned out wonderful took a bit to wash out due to the thickness of the product. didnt stain my skin nor my tub. will be stocking up on this color in the future i am in love
Okay, I've been using this hay dye. For years since I was young like 17 now I'm 64. You never know it. My hair is silky smooth, I use ultra light blonde and my hair is the latest blonde, just like the color on the box. Some people think I Bleach my hair But I've never bleached my hair and it's still soft.Am I daughter's been using it for years and her natural colors pretty dark and it looks great. She gets the one with ash in it in her hair.Is this blonde as mine which my hair is blonde?I love to take a picture of my head to show you
Simple to use. Basically two steps (unless you need to test for allergies, then 3). It's a gel consistency, so shake well before applying. My hair is medium brownish blonde and it now looks strawberry 🍓 it didn't turn strawberry blonde like the front of the box. It looks like the results for the darkest shade on the side. My only suggestion is to make sure you have good scissors ✂️ to cut the tip of the applicator completely off.
This color exceeded my expectations. I have to admit i am impressed. I used this on virgin hair and got a very vibrant color result. My hair is very short so closer to the scalp and im a 4a 4b natural hair mama. My hair does not feel damaged or extra dry afterwards either. Though my overall experience with this color was great i will warn that it is a bit messy and it does stain countertops so prep your area before use. Also side note, if you want a better outcome with a no ammonia color like this on virgin dark hair, after applying color, cover hair with a plastic cap and sit under a heated dryer for 5 minutes after you first apply it and then sit for an extra five minutes under a heated dryer towards the end of your processing time. follow that tip you should get better results. Thank me later 🙂
Please make sure you guys do a patch test before using even if you never had issues with it in the past! I have used this for many years with no problems until recently. I had a severe allergic reaction. Terrible contact dermatitis in my scalp and behind my neck. The inflammation on my scalp caused a lot of weeping which caused thick scabs, had a swollen forehead and a bad headache. Took nearly a month to completely clear up. I don't know if the formula changed or what but I'm very upset
Please be aware of the color displayed in the accompanying image. I ordered the light brown color based on the online photograph; however, upon receipt, the actual color was significantly darker than depicted. It is advisable to view the product in-store to examine the color on the packaging, as the website images do not accurately represent the true color of the box.
So I picked out 05 Ultra Light Ash Blonde. My hair is naturally blonde but tends to get darker as the fall rolls in. I wanted to try something brighter so I tried this. Looks like a penny threw up on my head. Just terrible! I never have a problem at the salon but I look terrible and now have to wait until they deliver the toner. Very cheap quality. Why don't they charge more and put toner in the box??
