Revlon colorstay brow mousse, 401 blonde, 0.07 fl oz

Okay ladies, if you are at all like me then you have a sad excuse for eyebrows. I had pretty much given up on making my eyebrows look good. I don't wear makeup very often because I don't know how to apply it in a way that I really like. As always I get really stumped when I get to my eyebrows because I really don't know what to do and whatever I have done made them look dark, thick, and fake. Oh and dare I say "angry". I tried this product as a last hope and I am so glad I did! The product description states that Revlon ColorStay Brow Mousse styles brows for a fuller softly defined look and they weren't kidding. I could not believe how easily and how quickly I was able to fill in my scant, gaped, pitiful looking eyebrows. The tip of the brush has just the whisper of tiny bristles that worked absolute magic on any unruly hairs and whipped them into submission. All you have to do is twist the bottom of the tube and the mousse comes out of small holes that are in between the bristles. Then simply brush the mousse onto your eyebrows and fine tune with the tip. It's such a "no brainer" that even I couldn't mess it up. I love this product so much that I now wear makeup almost every time I go out. I feel confident knowing that not only is my makeup on point but my eyebrows are looking like they never looked before. This is the first time I have ever gotten excited about makeup in my life and now I look forward to putting it on. The package states that it wears up to 24 hrs. I got color 404 Dark Brown which matched my eyebrows to a tee.

Rich velvety color. Covers gray. Stays put. Called soft black but it's pretty intense. I think a brown black might be better for me. It is a little more work than some brow products but given the fact it stays put lasts 100% and the bonus of gray cover am willing to take 2x the time and effort. The reason it performs so well is the waxy-like base goes on first with a brush in short strokes.. Then with the other end of the brush you apply the powder in the same way. Lastly you use the spoolie brush to tidy the brow & further distribute the color. If you get color on your skin a q-tip removes it easily enough.

I like it very much I bought the wrong color, that was my fault. Please read the directions on how to use . It is really very simple. The top pulls off. if you twist you'll be twisting forever. The bottom, turn to the right until you see the color slowly come out. That's it, simple.

I received the Revlon ColorStay Brow Mousse to review. It is a whipped color tinted mousse that lasts up to twenty four hours. It .Just twist the tube until the mousse comes out and then just smooth it on.It fills in thin brows and you can wear it over pencil or powder products.It adds a more defined look to your brows. It doesn't feel heavy on your brows. I give the Revlon ColorStay Brow Mousse 5 stars. It is a good quality product for the price.

I have brownish-red (strawberry brown??) hair, and as I'm getting older, my eyebrows are fading so they need a boost of color to stand out - especially in this era of big, thick eyebrows being all the rage (seriously...it's getting a bit out of control, right?). Anyway, I use a brown pencil to fill them in a bit, but have needed something to help them match my hair color a bit better. While I think this might be the best option for someone who has truly auburn hair, it's the best option I've found thus far for me. I use it sparingly, but it adds a bit of red to help blend. I'm on the fence with the applicator. You turn the tube to dispense product to the brush...which is sort of plastic and not bristly like I expected. It goes on slightly glumpy but it does smooth out/blend ok once you brush it in. I usually put it on then go over it with an eyebrow brush to blend it. I'm including two photos in slightly different light so you can get an idea of the color/shade. I've tried a few other brands/shades of brow color and so far this is my favorite in regards to the color and how it blends with my hair color. It's also my favorite so far in how my brows feel with it applied - it doesn't seem to turn them stiff or crunchy, but rather they stay soft and natural, which is important to me.

The concept was good, the only con about it was when u turn it for the color to come out I doesn’t come out evenly. But once it’s brushed in with the brush part it looks great and blends right in wonderfully. Having the brush and color all in 1 is a lot easier and convenient to use.

I can see Revlon ColorStay Brow Mousse in auburn being effective if you have full well shaped brows that are light and only need color, fullness and grooming in the way of controlling brow hairs. The formula does darken and thicken a brow hair when applied. But if you have bare spots and or thin brows that need filling in of sparse hairs this won't help much. It works by sticking ti existing hairs, I could not find a way with the applicator to get it to stick to skin in a way that looked natural. The applicator has stiff plastic bristles, much like some mascara brushes- so they do hit every brow hair. The problem is the mousse only dispenses from 2 holes on opposite side of the brush. This makes it very difficult to apply evenly across your entire brow. It comes out in blobs and does not spread out well. The mousse dries quickly and tends to crumb while trying to brush it though your brow hairs. The color is good, a medium brownish auburn. Not to red or orange against your skin. Once it's dry it is fairly smudge resistant but still washes off easily. If you are looking for something to make each brow hair appear darker and thicker, which gives your brows a fuller, plush look--this will work for you. I have clear brow hairs that are also sparse, so there is nothing for the mousse to cling to and goes on skin in crumbs.

I adore beauty products, everything from a good quality foundation, to highlighter, to contour... but my absolutely favorite part of my beauty routine is my brows. Whether you prefer a light BB cream or a full coverage look, I believe a good brow can truly "make" your look. That's why I was so excited that the Spark Reviewer program was offering the Revlon ColorStay Brow Mousse as a test product for one of their campaigns. Revlon has always offered great cosmetics at an affordable "drug store" price point. Since I have black hair, brown eyes, and olive skin, so I usually go for dark browns; however this time, I decided to test the shade in 405 Soft Black. When the product arrive, I liked that it was a "pen" design that allowed you to twist and choose the amount of product you want. Unfortunately, I was not that impressed with this product. The applicator was unusually abrasive and actually hurt when you applied it to the brow area. Once the product dried on the brow, its pasty consistency was very obvious and didn't appear "natural" as the product claims. Although I am still a fan of Revlon, I will not purchase this particular product in the future.

It is an awesome idea but just didn’t seem like it worked well for me. The product only comes out on two sides in a glob so you need to spread it out and use another wand to really get a good application and once on it just feels weird and not natural. I loved the color just the way it applied was not the best.

I am very disappointed that there is NO COLOR in the Wand. It is totally EMPTY and dry! It looks like the Black one I requested, with No Color and No Kit with the color! They are both just Empty Wands that came in an envelope with nothing else in the envelope. I am especially disappointed because this Auburn Color is difficult to find; and as a Redhead, very necessary! Hopefully this situation can be corrected and I regret that I have nothing to Review. Revlon is an excellent product that I've always used!
