I am so excited to find a product that is affordable and WORKS in making my eye shadow last. I have tried both expensive and inexpensive eye shadows - price doesn't matter - nothing lasts! Until now! Revlon Color Stay Eye Shadow Primer goes on creamy and doesn't feel greasy on your eyelids. It dries quickly. Sometimes, my eye areas can be sensitive; they get dried out. I was glad to see that Revlon Color Stay Eye Shadow Primer did not dry out my eyelids at all. I think the Shea Butter Care Complex must help. The color is a faint shimmery, similar to eggnog, that blends into skin tones so it is neutral or universal shade. You cannot see the glimmer-ness once it dries. The picture show the primer's color. Sometimes, I have noticed during the day that my eyelids are greasy and the shadow is faded totally. Normally after 10 hours I am ready to wash it all off because it's faded, creased, and flaking anyway. Well, I did not feel the need to wash away the day because my eye shadow colors lasted all day. Awesome! Revlon Color Stay Eye Shadow Primer puts an invisible layer between my eyelids and the eye shadow and liner and powders to they stay in place and the colors stay true longer.

To be honest I have been really uninspired, lately, to wear makeup. With all of my health problems I only get out to go to the doctor's or the grocery store and who wants to get made up for that. When I saw Revlon products were being offered I figured this would be a great time to try products I had never used before. Since theirs is the only makeup I use I wanted to see if there were other products in the line that I am missing out on. This Revlon ColorStay Eye Shadow Primer comes in a 0.33 fl oz tube and I can see it lasting a good while for me. I loved how super smooth it felt going on and how very little you actually do need to cover your lids. I used the same amount like my old primer and ended up having to wipe quite a bit off so a little goes a long way. It dried very quickly as well. I did have a little trouble trying to cover the primer with my eye shadow and even when I was done I could still see an outline of the primer that I couldn't seem to get rid of. It could be because I used too much, my eye shadow is cheap, or my serious lack of experience. This product definitely has rejuvenated my interest in wearing makeup again. I wore it from morning till night and my eye shadow remained vibrant until I took it off. Having a hooded lid was not a problem either and I made it through the day without creasing.

Revlon colorstay eye shadow primer is a miracle! I never used a primer before but once you try this and then put you eye shadow you will see the difference immediately! I put on over my foundation then applied shadow. It goes on like velvet smOOth! My shadow did crease or fade or run. It was perfect for me all night. I would defiantly recommend this before you apply eye shadow!

I have very oily skin and my eye shadow usually "melts" off in an hour. After trying this, my eye shadow was still tere after 5 hours! It really higlighted my eyes!it really does what it says!

I need eye shadow primer in my makeup kit and Revlon ColorStay Eye Shadow Primer worked as expected. Easy to use, easy to apply, it helped my eye shadow stay in place. I will keep this in my makeup kit.

I was looking for something to wear under my eyeshadow to make it last longer throughout the day. This does the trick. You only need to use a little bit and it goes on very smooth. It kept my eye shadow and eye liner from fading. It starts out white and goes on very light. It really seems to highlight my eye shadow. One thing to mention though is it does change the appearance of the eye shadow a little bit. It gives it a frosty look which I loved, but not all people might.

The product comes in a larger quantity that most. It is very light texture and color. Little bit oily so takes a bit to spread and smooth. Only takes a very small amount so be careful. It does keep my makeup from vanishing and creasing. Nice product. Would purchase again.

Starts off sticky and very hard to blend,use a small amount of the primer and shadow or you will be cleaning a mess on your brushes. For product that is suppose to last up to 24 hours only lasted 9 hours and shadow had alot of creased and shadow faded out to almost nothing on the edges. Overall stick to a cheaper primer as this one is a waste of money.
