Revlon ColorStay Full Coverage Long Wearing Concealer, Light Medium, 0.21 fl oz

I bought this in the light shade a few years ago and I love love love it. I have many fine lines and this concealer makes me feel confident. It makes my whole face look bright, fresh and awake. Helps with the look of my capillaries and under eye uneven tone. I've tried other products, but for me this is the best.

I am simply amazed. This beats every single concealer product I have tried for the past 20 years! I was surprised at the the added benefit of brightening the eye area. The banana color works well to nuteralize dark bluish circles on fair skin and gives excellent stay-put coverage, drys quickly and blends perfectly with my natural skin tone. The low price allowed me to purchase multiple units in one order.

Since I recently had cataract surgery, I no longer have to wear glasses all the time just some cheetahs so I definitely needed to cover up some dark squats and being Italian mostly all of skinned and I thought that was the best match the 040 so if you have another suggestion with Olive cold skin, that'll be fine. I Love this concealer!!! Why have they quit carrying in their stores?? I just have to order it on line. Covers well and stays on all day

*** Product bought with my own money *** Application method : dry puff/damp sponge + finger. PROS : - thin texture with good coverage, - self-setting, - natural finish, neither powdery nor too shiny, - remains as fresh as just applied throughout the day, - completely transfer-proof (unless it's applied on a naturally oily area), - doesn't have any darker dry-down, nor any darkening throughout the day, - resists creasing from sweat and natural oils (as long as it's set with powder), - medium coverage (for me it's a plus, I don't seek/need heavy coverage), - truly fragrance-free. CONS : - very fast setting speed (which may cause a cakey result), - medium coverage (for those who want opaque coverage, it won't be enough). COMMENTS : I'm not a concealer user, usually the foundation itself does the trick. But some of my foundations are so sheer that I need a more covering foundation to conceal my slight dark circles... so I tried to use a concealer for that purpose. Let's say at first that I tried the old formula of this concealer and I HATED it : the coverage was nonexistent, it never set on my skin, moved and creased and collected into fine lines even after setting with a huge amount of powder, this was a big no for me. Then I tried this new formula. As it's a very fast self-setting product, work ONE AREA AT A TIME and WORK FAST (don't dot it everywhere on the face and expect to blend all these areas equally well, the last areas will be dry by the time you reach them for blending). As I recently began to use a dry puff to apply my foundations (same type as Tati's Blendiful but a much less overpriced dupe), I realized that this extended the drying time, allowing more playtime to blend the concealer. It works with a damp sponge too but the sponge makes it tacky sooner so I have to work faster. The trick is to blend two ways : first blending it roughly either with a puff or a sponge then finish the blending with a clean finger to smooth it and press it further into the skin, especially into cracks and crannies (otherwise it will stay on top and make them look unconcealed, thus deeper than they are). When it's smoothed out and the tackiness appears, I immediately set it with a translucent powder and it stays in place. It has exactly the same feeling as Estée Lauder Double Wear : once it's set it becomes super tacky, unmovable and truly transfer resistant, so I think you could be good-to-go without powder as long as you luckily have a smooth (young) and non-oily skin. As a face concealer, on tiny spots only (I don't use concealer on larger areas), I blend it with a tiny eyeshadow brush and, once powdered, it's barely detectable. As I don't look for brightening, I use the shade 015 Light, which is a pale shade with a beautiful warm yellow hue. This matches my skintone better than the foundation in 150 Buff which is always too neutral/beige whatever the formula (bottle, both oily and dry formulas, or tube). It has only medium coverage at best, so to correct and conceal some slight redness of post breakout scars on my face and an ever-so-slightly darkness under my eyes it works perfectly, but it's not full cover by any means. To make a comparison : the shade is ever-so-slightly deeper, with the same pale yellow hue, than Estée Lauder Double Wear Concealer in the shade 1N Extra-Light. But, as the finish is smoother and way less cakey with Colorstay Full Coverage Concealer, I give up on Estée Lauder. Well done, Revlon !

I have used Lancome concealers for years I even used them for foundation when I couldn't find a decent color. I heard about this and I've been using it off and on for 6 months. I wanted to find a concealer that was readily available anywhere. This is strong stuff, it really stays on and the color does not turn. I was happy to see that fair appeared a little dark ( in the tube) but not under my eyes.The only thing......dab this on and blend, blend!! quickly. I use little dots of concealer so I don't have to break speed make-up records. The reason I say this is because the coverage is what is says..Color Stay. The great news is the color selection and the staying power. The so so news is you should be patient and somewhat adept at blending.It will be difficult to get off if you make a mistake.It will (eventually) crease into lines but not right away. Nothing is an eye lift in a tube--I think! This is a much better creamier product then that glob of grease made by *** and it rivals an older product made by Perscriptives.My Revlon red has a 'buddy' now--Thanks!

very thick and somewhat pasty. Coverage is poor. I will not recommend this product!
