I have used Revlon's Colorstay Foundation for almost 20 years. l appreciate the fact that they have not changed it, l assume other people use it and love it like l do. lt goes on smoothly and it never looks like you are wearing foundation and it lasts all day. Dear Revlon", Please don't change Colorstay Foundation".
I have been wearing this colorstay foundation since the late 90s! I love it. I have allergies so I blow my nose often and I don't have to worry about my foundation coming off. I hope they never discontinue this colorstay line. I love the fact that they have perfect skin tones for all races. I wonder if there is a colorstay cappuccino powder? Most dark or deep translucents are to light for my skin tone. I wish there was a age defying cappuccino longwear colorstay line for the fabulous 50s and older.
I've used this foundation since I was 17, I'm now 47! I've worked for some leading cosmetic brands over the years and tried multiple foundations but always returned to this one. It lasts, it's buildable, it has a good colour range and an spf. Just love it!
This is the most amazing foundation..I had skin cancer during lockdown so unable to get it treated for 3 years..this foundation makes such a difference it doesn't sit in the scar and it really does stay on all day.
Love the way it gives a smooth finish and feels on the skin. One of the amazing foundations that I have used
It went from being a fantastic foundation to a "meh it's alright" foundation after the formula changes. The formulation from 2012 had isododecane, which made the longevity and performance much better. Bring back isododecane in the ingredients please!
So, I replenish my makeup yesterday only to discover that the bottle has changed - again! And, the formula is far less thicker than the original one. WHY Revlon! WHY!??? Now, my combination skin no longer looks even, matt and flawless. After 2 hours in the sun, makeup begins to sweat off and, recovery after air drying is not the same, unlike in the past when you still looked matt after the sweat has dried. Please don't send me searching for a new brand because I love Revlon and would really hate to have to drop your product! Please fix it ASAP!!!
I don't know what you did to the formula. It is not the same and doesn't seem to be mixed very well. For years and years I have worn Colorstay makeup for combination skin. I use warm golden, but the last few bottles I've bought sometimes leaves sections where there is a white cast of makeup on my face; even when I shake it well. I never even had to shake the bottle before. Please know that a changed formula doesn't always mean improved. You shouldn't change a good thing when you have it. I do not look forward to searching for a new product. This used to be the best.
Extremely runny, watery foundation. I shook it up and the product leaked out the pump tip without being squeezed since it's essentially tinted water in consistency. They market this as having no scent, but it definitely does have a strong, annoying chemical ‘flowery' type of scent that lingers. My other foundations legitimately have zero scent. It's frustrating when companies, such as Revlon, add additional chemicals to products that are unnecessary. With how runny this product is, I don't see how anyone could realistically come close to 15 SPF. You're supposed to use a nickel sized glob of sunscreen on your face. This could never “glob” if its life depended on it. It would run everywhere and look suuuuper cakey if you tried to apply the amount of a nickel-size glob to your face. What the heck? Who approved this??
Bring back the soft flex formula. This new version is subpar because the coverage is less, and the color is off. The sand beige color unfortunately changed to a darker and warmer color with the new formula. It is no longer a neutral.
