I've used this foundation since I was 17, I'm now 47! I've worked for some leading cosmetic brands over the years and tried multiple foundations but always returned to this one. It lasts, it's buildable, it has a good colour range and an spf. Just love it!
I have been wearing this colorstay foundation since the late 90s! I love it. I have allergies so I blow my nose often and I don't have to worry about my foundation coming off. I hope they never discontinue this colorstay line. I love the fact that they have perfect skin tones for all races. I wonder if there is a colorstay cappuccino powder? Most dark or deep translucents are to light for my skin tone. I wish there was a age defying cappuccino longwear colorstay line for the fabulous 50s and older.
This is the most amazing foundation..I had skin cancer during lockdown so unable to get it treated for 3 years..this foundation makes such a difference it doesn't sit in the scar and it really does stay on all day.
It is very convenient to use, additionally it has a pump and transparent packaging, so you can see when it ends and when to buy a new one :) The coverage is good, but larger imperfections should be additionally covered with a concealer or a second layer of foundation. It spreads very well (with your fingers and a beauty blender). I have oily skin, which this foundation works perfectly with: it does not glow, nor does the foundation run down my face on warm days (as it happened with other foundations). I highly recommend it to all women with couperose and oily skin :)
Amazing foundation! I have oily/combination skin and usually foundations will come off my face very easily within a few hours. However this foundation stays all day, never any signs of any oils coming through the base of my makeup either! 5/5 and extremely happy with this foundation! I love it! I used to use only cover girl cosmetics but after using this Revlon colour stay I never went back to my old brand. I find it very easy to apply and blend and it is light on my face. It has amazing coverage and feels like it's not even on! Combined with a setting spray, I have limited make up stains on my shirt collars and/or masks. Highly recommend this product! It has never done me wrong.
It went from being a fantastic foundation to a "meh it's alright" foundation after the formula changes. The formulation from 2012 had isododecane, which made the longevity and performance much better. Bring back isododecane in the ingredients please!
The old formula worked like pure magic! It was better than Estee Lauder Double wear (which I have spent thousands on over the years). Then sadly they changed the formula. Gone are the all day mattifying benefits. I now get shiny after just an hour. It also separates towards the end of my work day. Truly frustrating. This is a prime example of "if it's not broke, don't "fix" it.
What are you doing Revlon?! You've totally changed the colour. Just bought sand beige which is normally my winter shade. It's now SO dark it's darker than my summer shade. If you're going to change the formula at least get the colour right. All of your loyal customers are wasting money on what is now a terrible product. I've been getting this foundation since I was 15 years old, I am now 31 and I'll have to start the search for something better
Had used Revlon Age Defying 3X for years & loved it...never even looked as if I was wearing makeup and went on smooth and even. Now it's gone. Decided to try this Colorstay by Revlon & I'm so disgusted! When I first pumped it, nothing but a watery, oily, slightly colored mixture came out and squirted everywhere. I tried shaking the bottle; but,the makeup is still thin and runny. The coverage is non-existent and the makeup settles in the few wrinkles I have, making me look older. Plus, the SPF is 15 compared to the SPF 20 in the makeup that I was using. What a colossal waste of money! Bring back the Age Defying formula or lose more customers!
