My first time ever using this product and am I very impressed. The bottle has a sponge on top and the foundation comes through as the bottom of the bottle is twisted. No messy hands when applying it. The sponge is used for applying and the foundation is creamy , light and covers great.I enjoyed how this applied to my skin and how I looked after. I would recommend this product.
This is a great product. I love the shade. It gives really great coverage. The twist up bottle with the sponge top applicator is pretty nifty also. It actually took me a little while to realize you have to twist the bottom of the bottle to get the foundation to come out of the opening at the top of the applicator sponge. The natural tan has been the closest to perfection of any foundations that i have used in a while. There was no irritation and the foundation does not have that stronge “makeup” scent like others that I have used in the past. This is definitely one that I recommend. I will certainly be a repeat user. *Received free for review. Opinions stated are 100% of my own.
I really liked the revlon photoready insta filter foundation, in the natural tan color, which is in my opinion a medium coverage foundation. The consistency of this foundation is soft and smooth; it does not leave bumps and lumps, and covers open pores naturally without leaving heavy residue, or looking cakey. The natural tan color blends very well with my dark olive skin, which it was a real pleasant surprise since I have bought the natural tan color in different foundations' brands and they all look different on me. After the Revlon photo ready instant filter foundation, I noticed that there is not visible line left between the makeup application and the nude skin, I can not tell if all the colors in this make up line are all this accurate, but I really liked that the color shown on the bottle is the same as the product inside, which is not the case for most lines of high end foundations.
I received this Revlon PhotoReady Insta-Filter Foundation as a Walmart Spark Reviewer. It has a nice blending sponge attached to the top of the dispenser, which is in a twist up container, similar to deodorants. The color was perfect for my skin tone and no one realized that I was even wearing it. The only comments I got were that I looked like I had a good nights sleep! The only issue that I had was in the actual application of the product. You really have to be in a good light so you can make sure you don't end up with streaks of color on your face. Once I realized that I had streaks, it was an easy fix. I would recommend this product to anyone, with the caveats outlined above.
Tried Revlon PhotoReady Insta-Filter Foundation and liked it. I was offered this product to try and give and honest review. The color description was spot on for me. I applied the foundation as I normally do. I covered well. My only concern is the foam applicator. I normally apply makeup with new clean pads or brushes. I wonder if the applicator might spread germs? That is the only reason I rated this product as good, otherwise it was excellent.
The quality of this foundation is excellent, it spreads thin on my skin blending the color with the color of my skin that makes it look very natural, very happy with that. What I did not like is the way the container is designed. The sponge is great but it is not great that you have to push very hard to get the foundation out. I do recommend it because each person has its preferences, someone might say that I am overreacting to the way the container is designed. My honest fact is that I dislike the fact that it takes many pushes to get the amount of foundation I want.
Revlon Photoready Insta-Filter Foundation has a lightweight texture that wears beautifully on my skin and gives me natural coverage that makes my complexion appear brighter and fresh faced as promised. I wish it wore longer though! Those desiring fuller coverage might not love this as it does run sheerer but if you're looking for light coverage that eases dullness and makes your already good skin look better this is for you. I really liked this one. Now, the applicator is what I could do without as it seems unsanitary because you can't wash it. I fear a build up of bacteria in the sponge. I would much prefer to use my own silicone applicator that I wash everyday.
This foundation has a medium coverage. It seems to be made for skin without wrinkles, smile lines, or blemishes. If you have any of these, they will stand out. Also, even after an hour it still rubs of on things (I'm use to Revlon's other product Colorstay which does not rub off). I also did not like the attached sponge. They are trying to make it convenient but you can't wash it and it smells. I'm a brush fan. Not a fan of this foundation. One plus is the color is a great match, true to the example.
I couldn't get the makeup up out of the tub. It states to turn the cap but it didn't work.
