My first time ever using this product and am I very impressed. The bottle has a sponge on top and the foundation comes through as the bottom of the bottle is twisted. No messy hands when applying it. The sponge is used for applying and the foundation is creamy , light and covers great.I enjoyed how this applied to my skin and how I looked after. I would recommend this product.
Omg!!!! I absolutely fell in love with this product! i have been looking for a full coverage foundation stick for the longest! This will probably be one of my biggest go-to items in my makeup case. The Revlon PhotoReady Insta-Filter Foundation goes on perfectly. The sponge applicator allows for even distribution over my entire face. Goes on silky smooth, not sticky or with a wet feeling. Dries and sets instantly. Goes well with my concealers as well. Flawless finish.
Revlons photo ready insta filter foundation is mess free , having a sponge on the top for application to the face means , no foundation in the palms of your hands and finger tips . The bottom twists up and the foundation comes up into the middle of the sponge. The medium beige is such a lovely color. The coverage was very nice , creamy and dried instantly. I recommend this foundation to anyone who loves makeup and good all Over face coverage.
I am going onto 60, am a redhead, and have fair skin but with a bit of an olive touch to it. I usually get not the lightest but the next one up or so. The 130 porcelain should have been ok but is a touch too whiteish for me. Maybe I can get the next one and mix it in with this one. The too white appearance seems to go away a bit after an hour or so but getting the color of foundation right is like buying shoes - you never know what you got until you walked in it for a time. With age also comes the problem of foundation slipping into wrinkles. This foundation has not done that so I am pleased with the feel and look in general. Its medium coverage which is great. The built-in sponge is not to my liking, for hygiene purposes. But you can twist the bottom until the foundation appears on the sponge and then use another sponge to apply to face.
I was pleasantly surprised by this foundation and I am really loving the way it looks & feels! The coverage is medium and you could build it to full coverage depending on your preference. I personally would rather use a brush or beauty blender, rather than the applicator, but it really depends on the person. The foundation comes out easily at the top and is very easy to blend and cover problem areas. This foundation is a bit pricey for drugstore makeup, but it works great for what you pay.
I picked this item online so I was not sure how the color was going to really be like, at first I thought it was too dark bit then I tried it and it blends perfectly so is really not the wrong shade, it feels very light and natural. The only thing I didn't like is how it's applied but you can always use a sponge or other tool to apply.
To be honest I am a Bare Minerals girl and love the coverage it gives but wanted to try the Revlon Photo Ready Insta-Filter Foundation because it sounded too good to be true. And it was. This is just a basic liquid makeup base that squirts up through the middle of a built-in sponge. The idea is great but the application is not so great. You have to shake the bottle then screw the bottom to make the liquid come up and it just kind of pops a bit of make-up in the middle, it's more of a blobish of make-up. When you put it on, it is very streaky - concentrated at the middle and thinner than I like. I ended up having to use my hand to smooth it out and use more product than I think I should have to, to even it out. I believe the sponge is a great concept but not really user friendly. And I don't think it would be sanitary as you can't really clean it in between applications. Also the color was darker than I usually use. I do live in south Florida and am dark complected and have sun spots on my face that Bare Minerals cover, but this foundation did not cover as well. After wearing Revlon Photo Ready Insta-Filter Foundation for a couple of hours I felt as if it got greasier and less coverage. I will not use this again.
I should say I'm a senior with the same problem many seniors have with make up. It lands in the wrinkles. This is a liquid which becomes dry almost instantly, coverage is fair. It dried out my skin and was hard to remove. It also seemed to make the wrinkles more noticeable because of the dryness.
I couldn't get the makeup up out of the tub. It states to turn the cap but it didn't work.
