Revlon PhotoReady Prep, Set, Refresh Mist - Clear

This mist is everything it says it is. It is refreshing, it preps and sets. I used this spray before applying my foundation as a primer and I used it after to set my makeup. It seemed to make my foundation last at least a couple more hours than it usually would. I also used this spray on my bare skin just as a refreshing spritz throughout the day. Happy to say, no breakouts and it didn't make me any more oily than I usually would be. In fact it seemed to help with oil control.

I love the scent of the Revlon Photoready prep, set, refresh mist spray. It is a very light scent, with a hint of cucumber. I used this as all three: a primer, setter, and refresher. As a priming mist, it left my skin feeling hydrated and smooth and makeup was easy to apply. As a setting mist, it helped keep my makeup from sliding off of me because my skin tends to get oily. When my face didn't feel fresh or a couple hours went by after applying makeup, I would spray a couple quick mists onto my skin and it was like a night and day difference! I loved the way it made my skin feel!

I have used gel type primers in the past for eye's, face and lips, but have never used a spray type preparation product like the Revlon Photoready Prep, Set and Refresh mist. I wish I had known about this product a long time ago as I absolutely love this stuff. I am a 63-year-old grandmother and have been blessed with a pretty good complexion. My morning face routine includes moisturizer, primer, liquid foundation and then mineral foundation on top. Now this sounds like a lot of layers and you would think I would have a “caked” look on my face, and until I started using the Revlon Photoready, I had to be very careful as to not achieve that look. Since I have been using the Revlon Photoready, I have changed the routine just slightly, but have a tremendous outcome. Now I moisturize, spray the Photoready mist, apply a light layer of liquid foundation, spray again, and then apply the mineral foundation. The coverage that I can achieve is awesome and without looking like I have layers upon layers of foundation on my face. I haven't used a regular primer since receiving this item and I doubt that I will after discovering this product. The instructions say you can spray as a refresh mist, but I haven't done that, as this item on my makeup table and I don't carry it with me. I hope Revlon continues to make this product as I never want to run out.

The Revlon PhotoReady Prep, Set, Refresh Mist is amazing. I'm 60 years old, and this not only set my makeup for the day, but I had a glow about me after spraying it on. As far as using it as a touch up later on, it was great! I looked GREAT! I highly recommend this to women of all ages.

When I asked to review Revlon's Photoready Prep, Set, Refresh Mist, it was mainly because I had never heard of such a thing and wanted to try it. I have worn different types of makeup over the years and after using this, I think I would have liked this at any age or with any of the makeup I've used. This product is a very light spray. At age 57, I try to wear minimal makeup. I use a tinted moisturizer as a foundation, blush and some loose powder. Areas of my skin are dryer than others so before I put the foundation on, I spritz my face with the mist and then when I apply the tinted moisturizer or sometimes foundation, I noticed that it seemed to go on my face more smoothly and evenly than it has in the past. May sound a bit strange with it being a moisturizer but it's true. I was very surprised but glad that it seemed to help with the appearance of either the tint or foundation, nice. I finish applying the blush and then the powder and then spritz again with the mist to give a finished look. Voila, ready to go. I would recommend at least trying this in your makeup routine to see how it works for you. I like it, it's lightweight and very easy to use. I use it before I put either my tinted moisturizer or foundation, then blush and powder and spray again. I like the finished look and it lasts me all day most of the time. If I feel the need to, I spray again to refresh my look. Again, I'd definitely give this mist a try, I was not disappointed.

Revlon Photoready spray is very refreshing. I am not a makeup person, however, I have applied it to my face after showering and your skin feels so hydrated and looks fresh. At my age, that hydrated feeling is important to appearance and comfort. I have also re-applied it during the day when i needed a pick me up. The spray is so easy to use and fits comfortably in your purse. I was not disappointed in any way, and btw it has a pleasant light scent.

I like Revlon products. I found this product helpful, but not what I consider a must have. It is applied by spraying on face after make up is applied. It is meant to set make-up. I didn't notice that it helped make-up stay on longer, but it did not cause make-up to run or fade sooner. I like to use it as a refresher mid day. My daughter also uses it to set her eyebrow pencil. She fills in her brow and sprays a small amount on her finger, then runs it over her eyebrow. She has found it works well in helping to blend and set her eyebrow pencil. Her brows look great and are set for the day with the help of this PhotoReady product. The product goes on with a light colorless mist.

I kept forgetting to use this product since it's not a part of my regular "get ready for work" routine when I'm doing my hair and putting on make-up, but since I've tried it I've been remembering. We all know how make-up tends to just wear off and get dull looking throughout the day, well this stuff really works. I sprayed it in the morning and all my make up was still fresh looking except my lipstick and lip liner, but that comes off easily when you eat or drink. The instructions say to hold it about 8 to 10 inches from your face and close your eyes and spray in a circular motion. I tried it like that, and it worked well. Don't use too many sprays. Maybe 3-5. It will feel like you have concrete on your face, otherwise. It did leave a light sticky residue. My face wasn't sticky to the touch, but it felt sticky when I made different facial expressions. That wore off as the day progressed. Overall, if you are having trouble with your make up staying on all day, this stuff definitely works.

I received this Revlon Photoready Prep, Set, Refresh Mist for free in exchange for my opinion as part of the Spark Reviewer Program. First of all, I feel the bottle is tiny, we are supposed to receive full size products is the impression I am under, I would only repurchase if it came in a larger bottle. I have been using a similar product for quite a while and it comes in a bottle twice as large, and I do not like remembering to buy it when low. This bottle would be gone too soon for my needs. As far as the quality of the product inside the small bottle, it is fairly good. I read the ingredient list, looks like there is some extracts of real plants, something I look for in a product like this. I do feel like this product could do a better job at moisturizing. The nozzle does give a fine spray, which I prefer, and the scent is alright, just prefer from natural sources. People with sensitive skin could have a bad reaction, it does say fragrance in the ingredients. There is witch hazel in it also, maybe it would be good for those with oily skin or in the summer time. At this price point similar items can be purchased that are organic, I would use in a pinch, but not my first pick of this type of product.

The Revlon Revlon Photoready Prep, Set, Refresh Mist, 1.9 fl oz is a makeup setting spray that makup artists/enthusiast use at the end or before makeup application to create a nice dewy finish. I used the product for about a week, and did not see a huge difference in my makeup. It refreshed it but it was not long lasting and required a couple more spritz' during the say to keep it together. I ended up using this to dampen my beauty blenders, and I see a use for it there. If you are looking for an inexpensive setting spray, then this is for you.
