Revlon X Barbie Stainless Steel Expert Nail Shapers, Quickly Shape and Smooth Normal to Hard Nails

I've always used the smaller emery boards, sometimes the cheaper brands...you use them, they wear out, throw them away and get more. My husband has very hard nails, and he eats up emery boards like crazy. It seems like the ones I was using were being made more cheaply, they would bend easily. So I thought about the ones they use in the salons, the ones that will take your skin off when they are not careful...and I purchased these. They are good quality, made for normal to hard nails, don't break down easily, comfortable and easy to hold...my husband and I are very happy with our purchase.

Since I do my own artificial nails, I have used many different kinds of emery boards and sanding blocks, and these are the best I've found, even better than a much more expensive brand found in salons and beauty supply stores. There is a coarse side, for shaping, and a fine side, for smoothing and finishing. The grit is long-lasting; one board lasts several months before needing replacement, and when I replace that board, the old one goes to the tool box for use in sanding in small household jobs. I've even used these boards for taking sharp edges off parrot claws. Because they have so many applications and they last so long, they're a great value for the money and I therefore highly recommend them.

Great nail file- like they used to make ‘em!

These work well for filing down nails as well as shaping them. They are a little too rough for buffing and polishing the whole length of my nails. They work well for fixing jagged or broken nails so I always have one around - in my purse, in my car, in my bathroom, and near my favorite seat in the family room.

Good just to collect but not for use

The nail files are my favorites! One side for smoothing and the other side for more heavy duty filing. They seem to last a long time.

I have very strong natural nails and it is hard to find coarse emery boards that are not too coarse. For me, these fit the bill. They allow me to quickly file my nails and get on with my day.

My nails are thin so most nail file end up ripped all along the edges. $ store ones only last 4 uses. This file has lasted 6 so far with only slight tares. Great for the price. Especially with the fact u get more then 1. Still prefer the ones at Sally's beauty supply. But the are more $ for only 1

It showed I was buying regular files, but two packages of the strange Barbie files arrived. I thought they were like a free gift as shown. I would not purchase the Barbie file, I think they may be a collectible or for a little girl to keep. They are super hard so you would need a tough nail to handle it.
