Revlon Youth Fix FX Fill + Blur Foundation

MeeMaw25 November 23, 2017

I normally do not use make up because to me it looks like I'm using make up and I prefer a more natural look. I was offered the opportunity to try Revlon Youth Fix FX Fill + Blur Foundation in a 1.0 fl oz container. It is SPF 20 broad spectrum, so does offer some skin protection from the sun, which offered me some consolation since my skin is damaged enough by the sun. I decided to try the color 320 True Beige. The label states it dramatically transforms the appearance of lines and wrinkles. We'll just see about that! LOL!! The active ingredient is Titanium Dioxide 4.3% and Zinc Oxide 2.8%. After applying Revlon Youth Fix FX Fill + Blur Foundation I found that my skin appeared more smooth looking, it covered the dark blotches and the bright pink spots well, as well as covering the shadows underneath my eyes. It actually feels silky on my skin, and doesn't have a noticeable "make up" odor. I'm thinking I am liking this and may be using make up more often!!

My new favorite foundation!

Kia September 29, 2017

I was a BB cream user till today, when I had the chance of using this Revlon product. My BB cream was promising the same blurring and line-filling results but it wasn't working well. The performance of this one instead really surprised me, I even received comments about my skin today! It has a satin feeling and it made my skin look soft and smooth. The nude color perfectly matches my tone and it made a good job covering my acne scars and smoothened up my pores. The BB cream didn't last much but now it's evening and this Revlon product is really holding up, I am really happy about this. The SPF 20 is a great plus for protection. This is going to be my daily foundation from now on! Give this product a chance, you will love it!

Lightweight, gives your face a smooth feeling.

Pinkchux November 1, 2017

Revlon Youth FX™ Fill + Blur Foundation - Cappuccino - 1.0 fl oz Foundation texture feels soft, creamy, and is not oily. Initially, I was surprised that is feels thicker in texture, but it goes on smoothly. Odorless. It is not shiny. Blends easily. Provides medium coverage that certainly can be layered in areas without being obvious. SPF 20 is a nice addition. Application - you really have to use your fingers to apply. Using a wet or dry makeup sponge for smooth edges works well. The foundation is thicker, kind-of dense, so a brush for application would likely be ruined. Washed off easily with soap and water or make-up wipes or a cream-based face cleaner. Tone appears darker initially, but once spread it out, the color blends nicely so that you can't notice you are wearing it. Lightweight, gives your face a smooth feeling. Does not sink into laugh-lines. Did not make my face feel heavy or sweaty or break out. Stays fresh for about 6 hours without needing a touch-up.

I like the feel of the bottle. It was smaller than expected. Because of the bottle's shape, it was easier to open and dispense the fluid inside. The size turned out to be just right, because you don't need a lot of the liquid to apply to your face. It is also the right size to last over the period of time I would continue use of it. The texture of the fluid is really silky and goes on so smoothly. The product does as it states on the bottle. Fill and blur. It covers like a concealer and you don't need to ‘blur' a lot. The color matched my skin tone perfectly. I don't even need to put any powder of it, as it blends in so well and doesn't leave a powdery residue when it dries. It doesn't crack like a caked on foundation or concealer when you smile. I have very sensitive skin and eyes. This product did not make my eyes tear up when applied to ‘crows feet'. The fact that it also contains sunscreen is a major plus. Suggested use is to reapply every two hours, but I didn't need to, as it stayed on all day. I didn't sunburn nor did my skin break out in any way. This product may have been designed to help hide wrinkles, but it also covers age spots on hands. There is probably some moisturizing agent in it too, because my hands feel smoother as well. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Great coverage, good color, a little thick

babymakesmore October 9, 2017

I love (and need) good foundation. I like the color and consistency of this Revlon SPF 20 Foundation, but it is a little thick (heavy on the skin) for my personal liking (so I did add a drop of a thinner foundation I owned) and then I loved it! It has great coverage and feel. The bottle is easy to use and dispense just the right amount (although I am partial to pump dispensers). Overall, I do like it and will consider adding it to my personal make-up kit! The color was what I expected.

Liking it so far

Lindsaylb October 9, 2017

I have been trying this Revlon Youth FX foundation and so far I'm liking it. I've tried it on with different primers and it's looked pretty nice regardless of what primer I use. I do believe it's a little thicker than the foundations I'm used to but so far it's worked for me. The only thing I didn't care for much was that it did get a little cakey looking after about 4 or 5 hours but not all over my face, mostly around my nose and cheeks and a little around my chin, I'm an oily type face so that's pretty good I think. It was pretty easy to blend, I didn't try blending with a brush I'm more of a beauty blender kind of girl so that's what I like using, but it was pretty easy and it looked very nice once blended. The coverage is more like a medium type coverage, although you can build it up to a full coverage, I just don't care for full coverage as much. As long as it covers most of the redness on my face I'm happy and this one does just that. It covers the redness, and it doesn't settle in fine lines.

Revlon Youth FX

loveonahill November 15, 2017

I have tried several foundations. Both high end and drug store and this is by far one of the best drug store foundations I have found. The Revlon Youth FX Fill + Blur Foundation comes in 12 shades and is 1.0 fluid ounce. The shade range is pretty typical of drug store foundations as is the amount of product contained in the tube. The foundation has a great consistency, being pretty thick when you apply it but it smooths out great. I used a foundation brush to smooth it out then a damp beauty blender to cover the more troublesome areas such as around the eyes, nose and mouth. Also the foundation is not cakey and you get a good medium coverage. The foundation is very buildable for problem areas such as dark spots or any scarring you may have. The tube is very convenient also. The product squeezes out which is easier and cleaner than bottles that pour out. The product drys withing a few seconds so no waiting to use a finishing powder, if one is needed at all. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone regardless of age.

Just ok

aleea September 29, 2017

I am always excited to try new foundations. I have tried everything from dollar store to high end foundations. This particular foundation has some plus sides. I am very fair skinned and cool toned. I have a lot of redness in my face especially. This foundation I will say in my experience was more on the medium to full coverage side. If you're looking for something light coverage this is not for you. Building it was not very easy, it had some issues moving once you started a second layer. I tried both a beauty sponge for application and a brush. I found the brush distributed the product more evenly and it didn't move around as much during application. The shade was a fairly good match to my skin tone. This was a very tacky and very Dewey foundation. It did leave a lot of shine on the skin and in my opinion was very noticeably wearing foundation. I would definitely not use this foundation on normal day to day basis, as I feel it looked way too heavy on my skin. I do not have any dark marks or anything to cover so I thought it did fairly well in that area based on what I am working with on my skin.

Revlon Blur foundation

Lovedecor1974 January 29, 2018

I received a foundation color not compatible with my skin complexion .I'am unable to provide a fair assessment of this product. The application process was seamless m, make up was easy to apply.Didn't match my skin tone. I wish I selected the correct color.

Best if your skin is very dry

Elphadora October 2, 2017

My skin is combination, so the texture of this product is not ideal for me, but it might be better for someone with very dry skin. The Youth FX Fill and Blur foundation does a great job of filling and blurring. The color is an excellent match as well. It's like a primer and CC cream in one. The foundation glides on silkily and blends out with some determined swiping. It is very thick and emollient, and it will still feel kind of tacky even after you've blended it out. This is the type of make up that makes you look fantastic but you won't want anyone touching your face. I had to use setting powder, not for coverage purposes but just because the texture still felt sticky. Someone with a more dry skin type might not experience the same issue.
