Very lightweight coverage

dvivster October 2, 2017

This concealer has a really ightweight, hydrating formula that works to fill in and blur lines and wrinkles with micro-fillers and optical diffusers. It erased the appearance of my dark circles with the color correcting pigments. It brightens skin around the eyes and I feel it lessens the appearance of the crow's feet. I love the soft cushion applicator because it makes blending easy. It lasted all day and didnt feel the least bit greasy.

Impressive

This review is for the Ivory. I have only used high end mineral foundation for over 10 years so this is a first for me in a very long time. I would say this is a medium coverage foundation. I have applied this with my fingers and with a sponge. I found it is easier to apply with my fingers. After I apply this I put mineral powder foundation over it to set the FX. They work extremely well together. I love the end result of using both of these. It is very natural looking. I can't really say if it reduces the appearance of wrinkles, as I am blessed of not having any and I look much younger than I am. I have only put on one coat, so I am not sure how it builds, but it does go on very easy. I do use a face primer before the foundation so I am not sure if that is a contributor or not. I love the way this color blends with my skin tone. When I take this product off at night, I find it easy to remove. The only con that I have noticed is that I think it is drying out my face. This isn't terrible, but if it gets worse, unfortunately I will have to discontinue use. I would definitely recommend this foundation.

Good if you're budget-conscious and want a decent

✅ What I like The texture is pleasantly lightweight and creamy, making it easy to blend out without feeling heavy under the eyes. For example, one reviewer said: “This is a lightweight concealer … my dark circles and fine lines are not nearly as visible, which I absolutely love.” It delivers a “blurred” finish: the formula contains micro-fillers and optical diffusers, which help soften the appearance of fine lines and dark circles. Many users report that it doesn't cake or settle into under-eye creases badly if applied well and set. For example: “My favourite aspect … it doesn't wind up cakey after a few hours … I was lucky that the ‘Light' version works well for me.” Good value for a drug-store concealer: many reviewers say it “delivers on its promises” at a modest price. ⚠️ Where it has drawbacks Coverage: It offers medium coverage, not full-coverage. If you have very deep dark circles, significant discoloration or require heavy spot-correction, this might not be enough. For instance: “The formula is very comfortable … but sadly, it doesn't quite offer the coverage I need.” Applicator/packaging: Some users found the click-pen style or sponge applicator messy. “The spongy applicator is a frickin' mess … comes in a click pen … the liquid ends up pooling in my fine lines.” Shade range & undertone match: Some reviews mention shade-matching issues (too light or doesn't match undertone) which is common in drug-store lines. Longevity under heavy circumstances: While many say it wears well, there are mentions that it may fade or need setting powder for best results. “Wears a little shorter … fades away quickly but doesn't crease during the wear!” 🎯 Who it's best for Someone who is looking for a concealer that does more than just “cover” — it aims to blur and smooth the under-eye area (so if you're concerned with fine lines or a slightly tired look). If you prefer a natural to medium look rather than heavy, full coverage. If you have normal to dry under-eye skin (the texture is comfortable, slightly hydrating) and you do set it with powder and pick a good shade.

I would have given it 5 stars because I really like the product but the cushion part just completely fell off after the first use. It was like it disintegrated. I am still able to use it by using my finger instead.

Good drugstore option

aleea October 2, 2017

I got to try this concealer and was pretty happy about it. I'm always up for trying new makeuo and concealer is something that's hard to get right. I have very fair cool toned skin, I am 31 years old and I have combination skin. This concealer i have to say worked pretty well. Its on the dryer side so it's a little hard to blend if you don't get it blended out right away. I both liked and disliked the sponge tip applicator. I liked that it was smaller for a more precise application, but I don't like that you can't really clean and sanitize it. I would much rather use a brush that I can clean, or my fingers for concealer application. The bottom of the tube clicks to dispense product. I found this to be convenient, if it had worked well, but it didn't. It took a bunch of clicks to get any product, and since the tube is not clear there is absolutely no way to gauge how much product you are using or going through. The coverage is light, but nice. I didn't have any creasing or issues with it rubbing off or separating. It's a pretty good drugstore concealer.

Sponge applicator tip broke off immediately... almost having dissolved. Also, bottom button to activate pump mechanism didn't work at all so couldn't dispense any product. Returned item.
