Rexing V1-4K Ultra HD Car Dash Cam

This was very easy to install. It works well. Im happy to have this layer of extra protection against all the crazy drivers with no license plates and no insurance that plague my city.

This recorder is pretty high-grade, and the quality looks very high-end. When the goods arrive, let a friend come and help install it. The friend installs it very quickly. It is installed in less than half an hour. The size is appropriate, and then it is installed. I took him out for a few laps and found that the shooting was good, the sharpness was satisfactory, the resolution was also very good, the viewing angle was also very wide, and the quality was very good.

The sole purpose of me getting a dash cam was for my own safety, just in case. I live in Austin and just like any metropolitan city we have a lot of traffic.Not just traffic but the people in the traffic. We have a lot of aggressive drivers here, and I was one of them. This is not only a helpful tool if you get in a crash but also a mindset change. Actually owning the dash cam and knowing it's always recording makes me be more cautious while driving, because it can easily be used against me in the case that I need to use it. Not to mention it's so handy, you can set it to turn on as soon as the car is on and start recording, and power down as soon as the car is turned off. You can set it to loop record and it will automatically record over old loops so there is really nothing you need to do besides install it. I definitely recommend this to anyone.

When looking for a good dash cam, there are three things I usually look for: 1. Field of view, 2. Image Quality, and 3. App connection. This camera is one of the better ones on the market when it comes to field of view, with 170 degree view. On top of that, this camera quality is great and it gives you clear video recordings. Also, the video recordings can be sent to your phone, just like regular home security system recordings! Overall, really satisfied with the product.

I just bought this dashcam to put in my second vehicle. I've been using it in my other car for over a year now and it hasn't given me any issues (the documentation on the hardwiring kit does leave a lot to be desired but that's a separate product). Would recommend this product to anyone looking to add a dashcam to their vehicle!

Have had two. First one wouldn't format the memory card, and it had been sold before. Could tell because the box wasn't taped from the factory, had been re-taped. The second took very nice video but it was confusing and I couldn't get it to work right.

Feels a bit plasticky and cheap. Video apparently is not 'truly 4K' according to some articles I've read. I do recommend putting loop on 1 minute, so that your files are more granular, as well as professional or DIY installation of the fusebox wiring adapter, so your cabin is free from dangling wires and you are not constantly having to plug/unplug the cigarette lighter adapter. WiFi connection is quite slow.

The camera worked for two weeks and won't turn on would not recommend.
