High quality items. All received in time. Well packed. The bag and strap are very durable and the hitch receiver and shackles look robust and fit perfectly. Didn't get a chance to try it out yet but is seems it will handle pulling my expedition if needed.
This kit is awesome, perfect for any tow needs. We recently got stuck in the sand and this kit would have been great to have. Now we dont have to worry. The shipping was most impressive as well. We received it in one day. I also love the fact that it is made in the USA and a great warranty. Worry less and adventure more!!
Witnessed my friend Tacoma freaking SEND IT when he pulled out a dodge Hemi truck and neither the strap nor shackle was phased. Now my friend wants to buy one for his Jeep.P.S I've had this strap since 2019 and I have pulled out numerous people from snow dug-ins.
I received the tow/recovery strap and the next day went out for a trail ride. Was going down a trail and came across a Jeep trying to pull another Jeep out of a deep ravine. It looked like the Jeep was wedged in bad and at a steep angle. They had a yellow strap so I watched them snap that strap. Looked like a good quality strap. I told them let me try with my Rino Strap. The guy who was stuck said it was no use, I'd just break my strap and my Blazer wasn't powerful enough. I hooked up the strap according to instructions and put my Blaxer in low 4 wheel. My Blazer bit in a pulled the Jeep right out. Your strap was magnificent.
I am never one to write reviews. With that being said this strap has impressed me SO much today. With bad weather coming through I was on my way home and saw a car stuck in a ditch. I offered to pull her out. First time I had ever used it and the strap pulled it out fine. Then my father in law said he had a John Deere gator and a big 4x4 cab tractor with a bucket and bushhog stuck up to its axle. Pulled it out using a bulldozer and this strap and a chain. Then because of all the mud my truck got stuck and used the strap to pull me off the farm and out of the mud. Afterwords we loaded the bulldozer on a trailer hooked up to a dodge 6500. Then the truck and trailer with the dozer got stuck trying to get back to the road. So using the recently recovered tractor and this strap alone we pulled the 6500 with the dozer still on the trailer up a small hill and out of the mud. The weight of that load must have been pushing the advertisement limit. I am thoroughly impressed with this strap and I will be buying several more to put in different vehicles and farm equipment.
It's an excellent product. So good in fact, somebody stole my old set! Had to get a new one. Living in the mountains during the winter, it really comes in need when people get stuck and block the road to my house. I come in, pull them out, and tell them to maybe try chains or a different route. Again, it looks awesome and feels like a well made product.
I didn't realize when purchasing, that the hitch pin was not included.Wish they had highlighted this in the product description.I bought this as an emergency kit only, for a minivan. My hitch is used only for bike racks, etc, that all have integrated threaded hitch bolts, so I'll need to purchase a separate hitch bolt/pin to add to the kit.The quality of the strap, hitch and link, carry bag look decent. Hope to never have to use them.
First, I think they are very misrepresented. They clearly are trying to make you think they are USA made. They are not. My fault, I guess I should have looked more closely.Second, the tow strap is nowhere near as good as my pro comp brand strap. The actual webbing maybe similar. However the protective wrap on the ends and the other piece is garbage. I imagine if you use these straps one time, the protective wrap will wear through or tear off. Its very poor material. Lots of missed stitching, torn holes in the material.Third, the shackles were poorly coated and not USA made either.Bottom line... will they work? probably. I think its poor form to try to deceive people into thinking the product is USA made. I think even being foreign made they could have used much better material and done a better job stitching it on.
Not very happy that this product states it's founded In. California the name of the company is rhino USA and all its products are made in China. Really?
Very good but they forgot to put the clevis and retaining pin in the bag that's why I could not give a good review that's a very vital piece luckily they are cheap and I work at a job where I can grab one super easy but next time Rhino make sure you ship everything needed.
