Walmart always has the very best steaks. I never buy ribeyes anywhere else. I have branched off occasionally and tried other retailers but nothing comes close. You can pay more for your steaks if you want to, the price and the taste and the tenderness of these "black package" ribeyes, we call them, is unparalleled. I'm a lifer. size is always perfect, apx 14 to 16oz each.
the black angus steaks, ribeye and new york strip, in the black foam packaging at Walmart are the best tasting and the best price. I no longer compare to the other stores, Costco, piggly Wiggly, Publix compared to others the steak flavor doesn't compare.
These ribeye steaks were Grade A!!! Now these are my go to every month. I pan sear them, then pop them in the oven and I've grilled them. I can't say one was is better than the other, they melt in your mouth burst with flavor either way and I don't use salt. Amazing
Really nice cuts of Rib Eye. We order them quite often and they are never tough. The marbling is also pretty great. I do wish there was a smaller option as I can't eat a whole one like my husband and you have to buy the pair. The cost gets me every time.
These steaks have always been my favorite nice thick good marbling good flavor. I think the price is a little ridiculous right at the moment but the package I got a while back had a slit in the wrapping and leaked therefore I have to wait and replace it on a future order.
Has a excellent taste but was extremely fatty. I got the thick cut family pk. Each slab of meat had about ¼ of fat to it (dog loved that part of it), so if you have them delivered to you, beware of this. I live an hour from Wal-Mart so ask yourself is it worth the gas to exchange it.
These dont look like ribeye steaks! My brother and ex husband were both journeyman meat cutters! The steaks I've been getting from you all are poor quality! I also get the NY steaks regularly! Are you trying to pass eye of chuck as ribeye? Not cool! Do better!
I only received 1 package of steaks and I asked the driver when she dropped the order off where the other package of meat is and she insisted that there was only one pack of steaks ordered. She quickly shut the rear door of her vehicle and sped away.
The steak was at least 30 to 40% fat, the rest of the actual meat was extremely tough. the toughness had nothing to do with the way it was cooked, I marinated the steak and cooked it at low temperature to avoid toughness. I would never recommend this steak at Walmart
The Angus beef was like no other Angus beef we've had before. The texture, and taste were off. I have made these steaks for years for my family and this batch wasn't right for sure. Back before Covid we would eat them at least 1-2 times a week. Now we cut back because of the ridiculously high prices on beef. The ribeye cut are my favorite to cook and eat, but unfortunately we couldn't eat these or even give them to our dogs. Save your money get a cheaper steak and make stir-fry, or steak tacos something heavy on seasoning.
