This rice is very tasty. I usually get a Rice Select product with Texmate, brown, red and black that cooks in 15 minutes. I thought this was that one, it's not and takes 45 minutes, but is very nice.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rice cooks extremely well in a stainless steel pot on a gas stove. My one year old was upset as I was fixing dinner and so I was occupied for 15ish minutes and left the rice cooking. Much to my surprise, the rice did not stick to the pan. I added a tablespoon of butter and a pinch of salt to the rice as I cooked it and it was delicious. The packaging is also very convenient with the easy storable container with lid. I never understood why rice is typically sold in a plastic bag with no way to seal it. I have created a mess more than once when I have dropped pre-opened rice bags. We often cook chicken and rice paired with an avocado as a quick and balanced meal. I much prefer this over white rice with this meal! It adds a nice balance of color, contrast and flavor. I’m
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Royal Blend Whole Grain with Wild Rice and was pleasantly surprised. The mix of grains gives a nice texture, slightly chewy with a nutty flavor that makes it more interesting than the plain rice. It cook evenly and pairs well with many dishes, from simple meals to more flavorful recipes. I also like the packaging, resealable and easy to store. The portion size lasts quite a while, so it’s good value for the price. Highly recommended!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this rice a lot. It’s a mixture of a lot of kinds and easily to be cooked. I made some fried rice with it and I am in love. It’s so savoury. It is packed in a clear box that is super convenient to grab a cup of rice, to see how many are left and to store it inside a cabinet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely pleasantly surprised by how good this is! I love the different texture of this rice blend. It tastes much better than just plain brown rice. Takes about an hour and a half to cook in my rice cooker which came out perfectly. It soaks up sauces and flavors very well and is great with pot roast!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great rice. I used it to cook, vegetable and white bean soup, it turned out great. The packaging is good and all instructions on the package are clear and helpful. I definitely recommend this product. Thank you.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rice is pretty good for what it is. It's hard to make brown rice/whole grains yummy, but this rice is decent! My only thing is that since there are so many different grains, not everything cooks at the same time so some are harder than others and not as tender, but it's good overall
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a great flavor, took like 40 mins to cook. Takes a while, but worth it, great for my lunch and dinner too. I added some chicken flavor season for more flavor. Easy to digest. No sticking. Has many different grains. Easy to store.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm usually an instant rice kind of girly. Don't have time to waste to make rice if it's going to take an extended period of time. However, this may have just changed my mind. The Royal Blend was absolutely delicious and a great side to my chicken. The rice was light and fluffy and much more flavorful than regular instant box rice. Because my dish was going to take time to cook, making this didn't seem like any hassle. Overall, im really pleased with the ease of making this and the flavor of the blend!
Terrible taste. Like cardboard
