RiceSelect Texmati White Rice, Long Grain Basmati Rice, Gluten-Free, 2 lb Jar

I have to eat low fodmap and this is a rice that I found I can eat with no stomach issues. It is easy to make, and taste great! I have three containers in my pantry right now! You wont be disappointed! It only takes 15 minutes on the stove and comes out perfect every time.

This is truly a quality Rice - disappointing that it is not offered all the time.

Good aroma and taste. Not long.... grain, which I do not consider a problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am surprised with this product. The rice is sweet, soft and sticky enough. When I use the rice cooker, the steam has the very gently rice smell. My dad enjoys this type of rice so much that we will buy it next time. We can eat this type of rice every day.

When this Texmati rice first came out decades ago, it was my go to. Then, the price kept rising and I stopped purchasing it. Well, this latest version lacked the delicious rice flavor I enjoy. It cooked up firm and separate, not gummy. Although I did pre-rinse it prior to cooking. So, I gave it 3 stars. But, I won't buy it again.

I should have read the description closer, this is “Basmati Style” rice, not imported Basmati Rice that I am used to and love. This is grown in Texas and tastes nothing like real Basmati. I is actually a pretty pour product overall. Now I have purchased Sushi rice and Aborio Risotto rice from this company and both products were excellent. This particular one is a miss, look elsewhere.

Pic says it’s basmati but it’s not. Walmart quickly sent replacment but sent the wrong thing….AGAIN! Called customer service to correct wrong info but obviously never fixed it.

It's weird that this product is shipped to me separately. Also they sent me "SUSHI" rice. I ordered Basmati. Now I've got 2 lbs. of rice that I can't use.
