We set this up for our new puppy so he would have a safe area to move around in when we couldn't keep a close eye on him. He can see everything going on though the wire and goes in and out happily. It is fairly sturdy (he is only five pounds now, but should work until he is full grown). Very happy with the purchase, but the shipping took longer than reported (when i ordered it Sunday, the website indicated Wednesday delivery -- the product was not sent from the warehouse until Thursday and we received it the following Monday.)

It is perfect for our apartment patio on the ground floor. All we had to do was spray waterproof spray for wood on it to keep it from any spoilage of the wood, since it is usually used for inside the house. But, we got this one because is was the longest we could find, and it fits the patio, except we just have to order two extra panels. We can leave our back door open here in the nice weather, and the dogs can walk out anytime to lay outside. It was just what we needed. I looked everywhere. Who would have figured Walmart had it! Thanks, Walmart!

We love this folding gate, I have had this 6 panel gate up for almost a year and has held up very well. We bought the dark wood version which blends in with furniture and is less noticeable. We use it to keep our pets out of the dining room area because one of our cats was ill and making messes around the house and this helped keep the problem more controllable. Our cat is doing much better but we still keep it up so we can eat without cat noses in our dishes lol. I did keep off the locking caps at each panel hinge so the entire gate can be moved at will easily like a snake. You can not move the gate if the caps are in place or damage is possible. The gate is sturdy, has a locking gate door in one panel and will free stand as long as the gate is kept in a Z formation. We are very happy with this purchase.

heavy duty, sturdy, we already owned the exact item, we purchased two sets of 6 long ago and needed to matching pieces to put around an open floor plan to keep pets from some sections own the room. The only issue is we have a very smart dog who can open the gate. I've made a carabiner/para cord latch as an added precaution. Just note the box is heavy and our delivery guy this time dropped it, which broke one of the wood pieces which I had to glue back together.

We purchased two of these and they work perfectly for our needs. We can break them down into as many different sizes for different uses we need. We currently have them all connected into a big square to to block our child's play area off from pets. In the future we will break them into two or three different sized gates to prevent access to the stove when cooking, or areas of the house we don't want accessed. Be aware that the most stable position for these seems to be the zig-zag. With two of these in a large square, and 1 1/2 of the four sides of the square against a wall it is ok, but will still need some support to make it really solid. We bought some fabric and are going to make a stuffed bumper along the bottom of the gates for when our little one begins to crawl around more. All in all a great purchase - but I would buy two right from the beginning. It gives you much more flexibility and nothing more is needed- just use as many or as few panels as you need.

This is a perfect gate to sequester a dog in a room or area of the house. Vey easy assembly and gate operation.

Placed pet gate around Christmas tree to keep puppy from getting into it. So far it works great. Tree still standing and no ornaments have been damaged.

Great design, but poor packing caused arrival in ripped box with two broken panels. Luckily easily repaired with one screw for each panel. Love the gate and fence construction apart from the bad start. Worth the hassle of repair.

Delivery was in time, but gate came broken. Returned with the full refund because I didn't have extra 7-10 days for exchange. Very disappointed.
