I continue to enjoy this show very much. That's not often true for a series that's 8 seasons in and unlikely to end in the near future. Story-wise, this season as a whole, and the finale in particular, didn't provide much of a punch. But that is probably to be expected since the biggest ongoing storyline concluded in the middle of season 7. The creative team keeps delivering quality jokes and memorable visuals. Taken all together, these 10 episodes are a B/B in my book and that keeps it a cut above most of the other current comedies and animated series I've seen. The vocal performances continue to be great. So much so that I rarely even think about the fact that Justin Roiland no longer voices the title characters. I'm sure the writers room would still benefit from his unique ideas and perspective, but losing some of the show's signature flavor seems to have been an acceptable price for a happier work environment. If you like to acquire your favorite titles on physical media, this is a season worth owning. If you're a completist who will buy each new Rick and Morty disc until the series calls it a day, don't worry. This one certainly won't be a chore to (re)watch.
