Borders on a "must have". I rarely need it, but it saves time, potentially money and or damage from "guessing".
really good product. clear video good quality. goes great around i side of walls. very happy
Bought the inspection camera a month ago. Wanted to inspect and area where I sprayed foam to close off openings from rodents. Turns out that there were no openings in the area between the house and garage. Presumed there were. The camera allowed me to see into areas of the house where I cannot get to.
Camera works great. I bought it to be able To see behind a wall with a leak to determine where to cut to make the repair. Worked great. Then a used it to check a piston on a lawn mower. Kept me from having to pull the head to make sure it was in good shape. Illumination is great being able to rotate the picture is also helpful. Glad I bought it.
I bought this to retrieve a gas cap retaining chain that came loose and fell down inside my 4 1/2 gallon tank on my mower. The video quality was fantastic in the dark tank. I learned to allow the camera time to adjust for focus and that, due to the hole and neck, manuevering can be tricky. The hook was perfect for retrieving the chain and retainer. The magnet was not strong enough due to being stuck on a hose. I am very pleased with this little camera and will be using a lot.
I bought this about a month ago used 2 times , first time, had to look in side walls resident would hear like a electric popping sound down by his toilet cut off valve, only when it rains , so I picked up this scope and poked a few holes in the wall , found the issue and fixed it. The scope saved me time and money, by not ripping a lot of out drywall, the second time was a sink drain going in the wall , resident's kid stuck a toy down the drain and it made it passed the P trap ,
This is my first inspection camera I've used and purchased. It did the job, but not clear and confusing to get to view. I guess I never used one before resulting in an average expectation.
This is a basic camera. Can't manuver it in pipes. It doesn't turn corners in the pipes. It's just a camera on a flex tube. With light on in a pipe its still unlikely you can make out much of what your looking at. It worked just not as good as I was expecting. It would be worth getting it you could maneuver it around corners in the pipe.
The camera works well enough but I wish the picture were clearer. A higher reduction screen would be welcome. Another feature I would like to see is a way to extend the length with a pluggable extension.
I actually bought the inspection camera over a year ago and just used it. My wife accidentally dropped one of her diamond stud earrings into a rather complex hvac duct in a second floor bathroom. In very little time I was able to identify and retrieve the earring, along with numerous other young child toys and cosmetic items. Device worked well!
