Ridgid® Model No. 375 458R Ratchet Flaring Tool, 37 Degree SAE Flares

I've had this flaring tool for years and I've made a number of steel hydraulic lines with this tool. On my last use of this tool, the female die gang hinge washer broke. I sent it into Ridgid and the replaced the entire die gang at no charge. This is a perfect example of a company that stands behind its product. Still a few good ones left.

I have been using this to flare for over 8 years and it still gives me the perfect spread every time.

I bought the ratcheting flare tool for the pretty expensive price just because beliving the brand. Only one year, the tool took apart of parts and contact tool dealer but they refused to repair it.

Bought this item 1 months ago, didn't realize it but the burs that hold the pipe you are flaring came stripped out, or never machined properly.

the ratcheting mechanism fell apart after three months and the wholesaler refused to warranty it .so now I have a non ratcheting tool at the ratcheting tool price . definitely thinking twice before buying any other rigid tools.

I've had this tool for a few years it's been taken care of but it's been used and just recently it showed it's quality or lack there of, I bought Ridgid because it was supposed to be a good brand. I guess time to try another brand. What kind of a tool if it says it's heavy duty but it can't even last few years
