Great e bike for the price. Maybe a great bike for a higher price. Assembly was good partly because I did some of it. Can't say much for how far the battery will take me. I haven't ridden it far yet. It's easy to pedal on level ground. Easier than my regular bike. It rolls easy and smooth. The rear shock under the seat is too stiff. It's really just a spring. I heated it to weaken it and it works better. The seat is good, but not a good fit for me. Needs more padding and width. The disc brakes do a great job of stopping it. It is very quiet running. Be careful when assembling and after. If switch is on a touch of a pedal starts it rolling if you're on it or not. The or not part is not good. Plenty tall and sturdy enough for a 6' 200lb man.

I think it's a great budget bike: not top quality, but fun to ride around on. Note: if you are in a state that requires registration, Ridstar does not provide a Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MCO) nor will they send you one. I tried to get one through Walmart and Ridstar support and their only response is an excuse that due to privacy they can't provide it.

Bike does not go 33 miles an hour. It only does 28 miles an hour. Also when I got it from shipping, the cable was broke. Had to wait two weeks for a new one. Also had to replace myself other than that bike seems to be OK.

I dislike new york state laws that prohibit ALL of upstate New York from owning and operating this item. I also was not cool with the fact that Walmart Plus customer service told me I would not be charged until the item was delivered, when in fact I was charged immediately and it took five business days of battle to get my money back. I highly suggest that when purchasing an item like this, buy directly from the manufacturer whenever possible, just makes the whole purchase process easier, which if something goes wrong makes reading

Absolutely a horrible experience. Ordered Dec 9, 2025, arrived Dec 18, 2025 with just a frame and two wheels. No charger, no keys, no pedals. Back and forth emails with support and manufacturer to get some replacement parts but still have no keys. I bought the protection plan, that was a waste as they won't do anything stating manufacturer (Ridstar) is to handle. Walmart, doesn't take responsibility as the main hub for sale. I have a bike we cannot use and this was a Christmas gift. Absolutely ridiculous and will not purchase this way again. I do not recommend to anyone!

Owned less than a year and we spent extra money on the Protection plan that has not helped at all. I feel this electric bicycle is a lemon. It has been falling apart since day one. I have only received a replacement part one time out of the several I have requested. I had to pay for additional parts that broke under normal circumstances. Highly disappointed as we spent a lot of money.

We are currently attempting to receive a refund for this. My 11 year old son was very excited and we had heard purchasing through Walmart was a great way. However now there are recalls for the battery catching fire and causing serious burns so not buy this product. We are hoping Walmart will do the right thing and refund us. I understand it is ultimately Ridstar who should be help accountable, but between both parties lack of responsibility and concern for safety of children, do not purchase.

The bike did not even last a month, poor design causes the wires on the hub to twist and shear apart. Chain shifter didn't last a week before it stopped working correctly causing the chain to repeatedly come off, it no longer works at all. I have contacted Walmart and Ridestar to attempt returning the bike to no avail. We are now stuck with an $1100 paper weight... DO NOT PURCHASE!

The Ridstar was delivered and after assembly would not start. The LCD was the issue. Ridstar refused the return and I'm still dealing with it. They offered to send a new LCD that requires complete disassembly of the bike to run the various wires to the correct places. Walmart was not much help as they just prolonged everything with waiting 24-48 hours for a new message from Ridstar. WARNING - avoid Ridstar and Walmart.

I just received a safety warning stating the wires and battery can explode causing harm and fire. The company is not agreeing to the safety issue and now my son is out all the money he spent on this e-bike.
