The bike runs really good and it's really fast. Yes it goes 30 but then when it drops a bar, it goes down to 26 27 mph but overall the pike is really nice and it does fit inside my friends cars.
The bike was easy to assemble and the seller is responsive to questions that I had. I purchased one bike for my self and three more for my employees.
Great bike! Follow assembly instructions carefully and be sure you don't have parts left over. Had to replace a bearing after riding for ten minutes because of our assembly error.
Love this e bike fast easy to ride smoothly change gears
it was easy to assemble no problems with it it has good power and battery range is good I'm 225 and 5' 11" it gets me around no problems
Assembly was easy. Good power. only complaint is the charging port hole that is drilled to charge The battery in the bike is not in line with the charging port making it impossible to charge the battery while in the bike. Same issue with the holes in the fenders, they are not center but all considered good starter e bike
The bike is nice, however, after 10 months of use the battery started to fail. Also, be careful on how far you adjust the seat upwards. If you move it up too far, you may develop a crack in the frame. Customer service identified that there is an issue and offered to send me a replacement battery but i would have to pay 250.00 shipping to have it shipped overseas.
Rhoda bike is DANGEROUS! Yes, it's fast. It's also wobbly and waay too big for anyone 5'5" or under. In fact, i wouldn't recommend it to anyone under 5'8". The position of the throttle makes it incredibly dangerous. I've ridden dirt bikes and ATVs my entire life and never had a single issue. In the short time I've had this bike, I've nearly fallen several times and actually fell 4 days ago, shattering my arm. I'm currently awaiting surgery to reconstruct my wrist. The throttle on a regular dirt bike requires effort to turn, this one can be throttled with an accidental passing of your thumb. Additionally, when using the throttle, it bursts forward in a jerking motion. This sudden burst of power, throws you back in a way that you then grip the handlebar tighter and usually results in more throttle than intended. Do not buy this bike if you are inexperienced, small is stature or in a city where the road conditions are less than ideal. I never got to try it offroad because it handled like garbage on the streets and sidewalks in the capital city of Augusta, ME. Every Crack in the road, feels unstable. Every rock feels like you blew the tire and every pot hole bounces you enough to cause you to grip tighter and potentially throttling more than intended or expected. It's probably an awesome bike for someone bigger, it's not someone 5'5" and 115 lbs! It's also VERY heavy, not at all compact when folded and difficult to fold.
Ridstar does not give one year warranty on e-bike sold third party thru Walmart. Received one e-bike with broken taillight. Ridstar won't email me back and Walmart Doesn't know correct email for Ridstar.Ridstar has an email for third party bikes but won't email me back! Bikes are great but service is the worse. Now I have a brand new bike with no tail light.
the day i received my bike the price dropped $176.00. the company wont rebate the difference. i feel this is bad business. I was about to order a second one but decided that if the company is unwilling to do whats fair I would look elsewhere. I'm also upset that Walmart did nothing but dump it on the seller. So much for Walmart membership. I'm switching to Amazon for future purchases.
