This is definitely a top-notch product. I thought that it would be uncomfortable and awkward because I had worn other single-speaker headphones before, but I was actually blown away. They are very adjustable and nothing touches your head except soft cushion. The sound quality is great. I even started using this Wasser for gaming. Yes, I use a single-speaker headset for first-person shooter games xD. This is because of the combination of the comfort, sound quality, and mic quality. The mic is pretty good. I haven't heard what my voice sounds like through the mic, but I know that none of my friends have told me that they can't hear me or that there's too much background noise. The only downside is minor: You cand. remove the mic from the set. The mic pivots on a hinge at its base, so you can just fold it up and act like it's not even there, and you can also flip the mic to the other side if you want to have the speaker on your other ear while still using the mic. However, it'd be nice to have a removable mic so that it's easier to replace. But even so, I haven't had to fix any part of it since I got it, which was a while ago. Not to mention that it looks very sleek and complementary.
This is a headset dedicated to chat and not game audio. The comfort of the headset is amazing. The flexibility of the mic and earpiece make this suitable to people of all sizes. The foam padding is very similar to my RIG 500E, and it is highly breathable. While the actual speaker driver is padded and separate from the ear cup padding, the combination of the two makes for a very light because of the spacing. The noise that the mic picks up is almost always only my voice. The only times it really picks up background noise is when I have 7 other people in the room who are almost yelling to each other. The audio quality is crisp, so I can hear other people clearly. I enjoy the in-line mic volume and mute controls because those are very helpful when playing. I even toyed around with the audio quality for non-chat things like music and game audio. While this isn't the purpose of the headset, the quality was still clean and usable, even if the headset isn't stereoscopic. This product is absolutely amazing, and I could totally recommend it to someone who needs a headset.
I tried the headset and it feels, sounds and operates great. It's a type of headset I'd recommend for a friend who'd just started out gaming. Simple to use, comfortable to wear and reliable. Although for me personally, it was just a little too small but nonetheless a great headset.
Great to hear external things as well as gaming clear
I think the headset is really good. its light weight, has a good microphone with good sound quality a detachable microphone and a convenient setup for PS4 gaming. I would not use it if you are looking for a standalone headset to play music audio. More expensive headsets offer better audio. The RIG 400HS is reasonable price for what it offers. I would love to see bone conduction in the future.
The headset is lightweight and durable construction with quality audio for voice chat both incoming and outgoing. The headband may be a bit snug for those with large heads like my own, but the ear cup and band cushions make it comfortable to wear for long gaming sessions.
Overall after receiving this headset I was kind of skeptical but it amazed me with its quality and sound, it is a very durable headset. Great for those on a budget or a travel headset to do some quick gaming. It's lightweight design is amazing and can be stored fairly easily. I would definitely recommend the rig100hs to others.
I picked up this budget headset to use when I am on the go. The sound quality is good from the headset and I have had no complaints with regard to the microphone. However, I am somewhat torn with only having sound in one ear. I have only been using the headset for several days and it is something I am still getting used to.
I received headset and I am very impressed with the sound quality the cushions and ear muff a comfortable but quality of hardware plastic makes it seems easy to break. I also would of loved if it came as a Bluetooth. Overall product is perfect for children and adults.
I bought this headset to use with my laptop for working from home since I do a lot of online voice conferences. It worked well for about 2 days before people started to complain about static on the line. I tried using it on my phone instead but had the same results, excessive static. Not sure if this is a faulty unit or if this is typical of this device.. but I'll be returning it regardless since I cant use a headset with static.
